Where Are We? - NFL

Not that I am officially endorsing this, but you can watch pretty much every game at frontrowsports.eu. This is pretty much the only way I am able to watch Packer games. You might get a warning about mal-ware should you have a reasonbly good firewall, but as long as you have your popup blocker on you should be fine.

I'm in the same boat. 30 yrs in Colorado and still a Steelers fan and can't watch most of the games.
Can't afford DirectTV Season ticket but I did buy the NFL rewind for $40 this season. Better than nothing.

Wait... what thread am I in? ---

Yeah, I checked. It's a football thread. ;)

Where are we in the NFL? Well, let's see... Last week the two teams that seemed to be destined for the NFC Championship game last year were playing each other with a total record of 1 win and 5 losses. New Orleans is now 0-4, Green Bay is a tenuous 2-2, and somehow my playoff contending Detroit Lions are 1-3.

New England looks ordinary. Up is down and down is up in the NFL. I've never seen anything quite like this. :eeeekkk I'm really hoping to see things get back to normal and especially my Lions to get back on track. Delmas comes back to stabilize the secondary, and Detroit's potent offense surely has to get its timing.

Right now it's insanity in the NFL. But the Lions will get on track and make sense of it soon. :yes

And by "back on track" you mean taking their rightful place at the bottom of the division? :wink3

:chair

That track has been dismantled and is no longer in use. The Lions replaced it with a whole new infrastructure, and that's the track they need to get back on!! These are not your father's DETROIT LIONS!!

You hater!!!

This thread has grown since I last was here. I am in mourning since my Cardinals lost the other night. Considered jumping off the roof of the Cal-Neva casino, but I don't know if six floors would to it. Besides, most of my teams, college and pro, have only one loss a piece.

Well, after winning their first four, my Cardinals have lost their last four. Not all is lost, yet. My second favorite team, the Bears, are doing well, as is Peyton Manning.

Where are we? The Packers are preparing to knock of SF. Meanwhile Seattle is preparing to upset the Falcons. Leading to a revenge match NFC Championship where the Packers prevail and earn another trip to the Super Bowl. I hope.

I knew there was something I liked about you.

Anyone watching Packer SF game right now?:clap :crazy:gah:help:dunno

It's 14-14 if we win this it will be so epic. Aaron isn't right. Where are you knotical?

:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry So not cool.

:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry:bigcry So not cool.

Not too surprising, if you ask me. Home field advantage means so much in the NFL playoffs, that it speaks volumes when one team can go on the road and beat another. Keep crying. :bigcry When you've had to do that for half a century, you will then know how it feels to exist in perpetual NFL misery. Most of us here would take 0-16 seasons in 2015-2020 if it meant the Lions would win it all in 2014. That's how desperate we are for a Super Bowl Championship.

So, please... take your tears, and your Super Bowl rings, and your NFC Championships, and your All-Pro quarterbacks, and cry me a river! :grumpy

:D

Lol. Fair is fair I had that coming. Isn't it easier for you Mike to take a loss since it happens so often? The packers are usually good this hurts man.;) I think it was bad game planning more than home field advantage. No way Kapernick should have some historic day against us. Oh well. If you guys do win it and go 0-16 from 2015-2020 would you take a wide receiver with every first draft pick you get? :lol

I tried to watch the game yesterday, but the interweb gods were not with me, so I had to resort to following it on foxsports.com. I thought they had a chance at halftime, but that quickly got out of hand once the second half started. Very disappointing end to a storied season.

Yhea...my parents are season ticket holders so there was a chance if seattle won we would have had tickets. Looks like neither is going to happen now. Winter is more depressing once the packers stop playing.
