Which is more...

I like both. I just wish they stayed that small because they're so playful at that age.

These were some puppies my uncle bred a few years ago. We almost kept one--I kind of wish we had, but I really wasn't prepared to raise a puppy to adulthood. Then or now. Kittens are a lot easier to raise. They don't need as much time or training or socializing.

Anyway, at the time I had two full grown puppies.

I only have one now. The German Shepherd got old and passed on.

Nice Shepard! Sorry to hear that he passed on. :sad I love Shepards!

Puppies, dogs. I'm not to fond of cats. Dogs are cool.
Cats can be spiteful and they sure can stink a house up bad.

The puppies in the pics I shared were Shepherds, too :)
I loved their mother (my uncle's dog)--she was a sweetheart. Recently I was told she had to be put down because of hip problems. Sad.:shame (Why my uncle bred a dog with hip dysplasia, I don't know. You can and should test for it before breeding.)

my parents' dogs...they're small, so they're like perma-puppies. Miniature dotsun (sp?) and a tiny 9.5lbs mutt.

But kittens are cool, too. They swat at you and fun stuff like that.

My entitled little nutcase adorable kitty
Oh, does anyone want to take a guess at what this cute little animal just did?

We brought some groceries in, and suddenly I see the cat running by with a package of steak in his mouth. Luckily he hadn't torn it open yet.
That's the kind of stuff this cat does. He's the most misbehaved cat I've ever had. He also likes to take a certain, rather gross item out of the garbage and tear it up.

I wouldn't trade him for anything--to me pets are family and a commitment you make for life. But he has some irritating behaviors.

He don't need none of that stuff. lol He's already hyper.

And yeah, to me these kind of mishaps are part of being a pet owner. There are ways to prevent it or amend behavior to a degree, but mishaps will still happen. Though my other pets have been more mild and almost never got in trouble. My GSD would raid the garbage sometimes, my little dog once lifted his leg on the clothes hamper (got onto him and it never happened again), and my previous cat would tear open her bags of cat food to the point she was obese. But not like this cat.

He's not going anywhere, though other family members like to rant about getting rid of him when they're especially upset.

I wish my family wouldn't say some things about him or wanting to get rid of him. To me that's like saying, "hey, let's get rid of this child because he's annoying".
