Who Are The Vets ?

I'm very, and honestly, impressed. It makes my 67a, 67m and 67n look small, indeed but then I have always been guilty of being narrow minded. ;-)

Oh, and the Gary Owen, I'll never feel worthy of that honor from men that routinely put the bacon on the line. Insertion, extraction and LOG missions are over so fast and they are stuck there. I went home to a shower, a bed and three hots.

Men of five, still alive through the raging glow. Gone insane from the pain that they surely know.

im not saying all war is just but I bet if I was going to harm yours. I would be harmed in the process to the point of cessation of my life. do nations lust? yes. but we don't always know that when we fight for our nation.

I don't know the author but I'll bet he was once. Until the day dad passed he and I never spoke of it and it took years for me to learn that I needed to dump it with conversation. I still prefer the Vets because they are not shocked with the real story.

LOL, I'll bet. On your post above the quoted;
Mine in not to wonder why, mine is to do or die. Even the Draftee lived by that code. We were not the sweetest bunch of Apes but we were loyal.

The only Senior ever bucked was Top in the 11th GS Avn. Co. ad then only after he got two of mine killed by disobeying a direct order by sending them into a live Mine Field to set up te Orderly Room Tent. I never saw him again and he hated my guts after that.
