Who dat?

His wife's feet? :confused

I don't know that they have much to worry with the Patriots, since the Jets have "the best defense in the NFL". :screwloose Windbag!!!
Oh, I thought the "feet" incident was a nation wide story, since the ... oh never mind, I will PM you. LOL

Anyway, I have to stick to my prediction, which was, I don't feel anyone is getting past New England this year. Add to that the embarrassing 45-3 MNF loss several weeks ago.

Statistically, their defense is good but do you really thing Belichick and Brady care about statistics? :lol

I was being tongue in cheek. Rex made that comment leading up the the Lions game, and we rolled up a lot of points on them - should have won the game.

How bout the Chiefs getting trucked today? They were the feel-good story of the first half of the season. Then they came unglued culminating with this bomb in the wild-card round. Not so feel-good anymore...

I was actually rooting for the Jets in the AFC this year until that foot incident.

I won't hod that against the team, although it was an embarrassment. :shame

I still am rooting for the Jets right now after the Ravens in the AFC. I can't bear the thought of the patriots or the steelers getting another one.

In the NFC I want seattle (I want Seattle to do it for the lulz)
After them Greenbay, chicago,

I cant bear the thought of overrated atlanta either. Sadly they probably just got a quasi-bi week and more or less free pass to the championship game. How the saints managed to lose to the seahawks I dont know.

Ashua, with you being a Bucs fan, I can understand your Falcon hate. I have the same feeling about Chicago and Green Bay, being in our division. Please God, no! :pray

Why can't the Bucs fill their stadium? Even when they had a good shot at the playoffs, they weren't filling it. When I see teams and their fans unable/unwilling to fill the seats, I root against them, because I don't think they deserve a Super Bowl.

When Detroit has any success at all, I mean only a glimpse of hope, I'm very thankful to have season tickets, because seats are hard to get. If the Lions ever went to the Big Game, this town would come unhinged! We are a football town through and through. On our sports talk stations we talk football all year round. :angry2

Our economy is really bad right now. I'm not sure how much BP hurt us, but we are a vacation state and when people in other states are struggling they don't take vacations. I think the Glazers (owners) raised ticket prices too. Idk what the deal is. You couldn't even get tickets for like a decade I think until this year.

No doubt the economy has ripple effects everywhere, but you do realize you're responding to a person in Michigan, right? As in, Detroit. As in, the only state to realize a decrease in population in 2010. As in, last person here, turn off the lights. :gah

But with a few wins, Ford Field is jammed. I'm not slamming Bucs fans here. I'm thinking maybe there are a lot of transplants who don't have a devotion to the team, and you have a lot more in your state to divert your interest. But then again, college football sure doesn't have any problems generating interest in Florida. :chin

lol. Yes, your location did cross my mind. Idk. Its a combination of things. It was the first time in 13 years we had a blacked out game. The fare weather fans anger me greatly. I remember feeling angry and like someone robbed me after we won the superbowl and I saw the parade on tv. I thought to myself "Where were all these people before?" Bandwagoners...

The best seat is in your own living room, but fans need to show up. If you show up to games when they are winning, who are you to not show up when they are losing --not that we did much of that this year despite being the first team since the merger to get 10 wins with like 12 rookie starters or whatever it was and a million injuries.

For better or for worse.. :/

Nobody’s going to beat the Bears now that the Colts are out.

haha. I actually think it would have been a favorable twist of circumstance if the colts somehow made it and the bears again fro a rematch. The bears would beat them. I'd be more worried about the patriots and then the steelers. Id fear the jets defense too. That would maybe be the most low scoring defensive superbowl in history.

Ahahahahaha YEESSSSSSSS. Looks like the media cannot help in the playoffs. Reality isn't so polite, is it Atlanta? :-D :-D :-D

Now I must turn my sight against new england and pittsburgh.... Almost like a lose/lose situation in the AFC unless the Jets can pull off two huge upsets....

Oh my gosh!! Literally every single game in the post-season has gone against who I was rooting for. Now, looking at the Bears, I have my worst nightmare. The Bears and the Packers in the NFC Championship. Say it ain't so!! :wall That means one of our NFC North rivals will be in the Super Bowl! AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

I have to assume the Pats will beat the Jets. There's just no way to conceive of it not happening. And then I'll finally have a game that goes my way.

Whoever comes out the AFC is going to kill it in the Super Bowl, anyway. The AFC is so much better than the NFC.

I've had the Jets all year until that tripping thing, as I said. I have to believe that the Jets amazing secondary will overcome.

Jets Packers Super Bowl. Watch.

I am stunned, STUNNED! by
this Jets upset! As much as I don't like Rex Ryan, it looks like he had his team much better prepped for this game than the hoody. He out-coached him. If anyone wants to know who will advance to the SB, just ask me who I don't want to see in it.

I thought you had the Bears winning it all.

Lucky for you I am not a betting man, because I know the NFC winner is going to beat the AFC winner.

No, I never said that. I may have said I had the Bears as my NFC preference at one time. I kind of want the Packers to go, but I hate teams who have enjoyed too much success in the past going over teams with lesser success. (The Bears have had more success than many teams, though so I dont care)

Unless its the Bucs, I very seldom root for the NFC team to win the Super Bowl. I am retributive when it comes to the rivalry chain of command: Division<Extra-conferential teams which I hate almost as much as divisional rivals (like the Eagles)>the rest of the conference.

I do NOT want the Steelers to go or especially win the super bowl. They have had more rings than anyone. I hope they never go again. If the steelers go, I am all for the NFC team. If the Jets go, I'm impartial, but only because I also hate darling cities (such as new york) and I hate the way they *trip* and yes, rex ryan does come off as a dirty coach, but I cannot prove it. Idk anymore. Im just glad new orleans atlanta philidelphia and new england are out. take care of pittsburgh and Im happy. Look on the bright side. If your division rival LOSES the superbowl, that is a franchise killer. Both of them will have bad draft positioning too.

Sorry. I had to look back. It was elijah predicting the Bears, and he affirmed it after I'd posted that.

I do think the Bears were over-rated this season, but they look like they're peaking at the right time. :bigfrown On sunday's Bears/Packers game, there will be good news (one will lose) and bad news (one will win). And worse news, one from the Lions division will go to the Superbowl.

So here is who I'd like to see go (you can bet the house they'll lose.) Packers by a very narrow margin and the Ravens. So anyone who has followed this thread should know to be the house on Chicago and NY. (for anyone who's a betting man:D)

Everybody was overrated this year.

Oh, and I disagree with the whole "the AFC is dominate" thing. I predict a major shift in that seesaw.
