Who dat?

News flash, the Philadelphia Eagles have been reinstated because of 3 bad ref calls in their last game, this is a first in the NFL, and after we knock off who ever we play we are going to the Super Bowl, see you guy's there.

Must be the Bucs. They were eliminated by tie breaker when they really beat the lions. The zebras dont play fair I tell you.

Everyone else needs to stand in the complaints line behind the Lions who were victims of the worst call of the year on week 1 in Chicago. This was a touchdown that would have put the Lions up with 20 seconds to go. This was the game-winner. Everyone knows it! Worst call of the season! The Lions should have started 1-0, and the Bears 0-1 - period!

So, the line forms behind me! :grumpy

skip ahead to 8 minutes and watch the replay after wards. An apology is not enough. The refs should be fined.

Ashua, please... back of the line!!

There was pushing off on both of them. I could see the call going either way, but I know I'm biased. There is that kind of judgment call all them time in the NFL. The CJ catch was so much more clear cut, and reviewable. Your call wasn't even reviewable. The refs looked at that CJ catch over and over on replay and still got it wrong! Worse yet, it was nearly a "walk off home run"! The Lions won that game with that touchdown. The Bucs/Lions game had a lot of time to go. No comparison!

Why is it, with all of the replays (talkin' about the NFL in general - not the CJ catch), they still are screwing up so badly? This was a brutal year for blown calls everywhere.

The engaged with Kellen Winslow and he never looked back (I.E. he wasnt even trying to make it look like he was playing the ball.) We lost in overtime and never got the ball (coin flip). There would have been no over time if they got that call right. The very next play the lions were holding Mike Williams in the end zone and still no call. We got robbed a playoff birth. Your team didn't really have anything with that magnitude of consequence.

You know what else I like, about the rules? If green bay would have been eliminated the NY giants would have won the tie breaker over the Bucs and made it into the playoffs.

Now that the draft is coming around, the giants pick before the Bucs. I really like how that system works.

Anyways, yes. The refs are horrible. They decide all kinds of things.

I'll concede that. It's a good point. There is a clear-cut rule about the defender needing to at least look back at the ball and not just engage the receiver. However, there was time for Tampa to outplay the Lions in regulation. Virtually no time for the Bears if the CJ catch was called correctly.

Oh, well. I have to get over it. Moving on...

I'm picking the Steelers and Green Bay tomorrow. It looks like GB is peaking at the right time, as is Rogers. The Steelers know what it takes to win, and they're playing at home, although home field advantage hasn't been proving to be all that important this year.

Having said that, I'm not promoting gambling, but if you're picking games, the safe bets are the Ravens and Bears. I've got everything else wrong!

I know you aren't going to like this very much, but I have to go against the steelers. Green Bay cannot allow pittsburh to get another ring. I'll be sick to my stomach.
