WHO DID CHRIST JESUS DIE FOR?

This is Mormonism.

And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Mt 5:2.

Jesus is teaching His people the Spirit of the Law. He's not teaching obeying the Law is impossible.

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mt 5:3.
for they shall be comforted. Mt 5:4.
for they shall inherit the earth. Mt 5:5.
for they shall be filled. Mt 5:6
for they shall obtain mercy. Mt 5:7.
Etcetera.
He's teaching what they will obtain, not impossibilities.
I agree when you hear Jesus it is obvious. But if ones heart is hard and emotionally silent, comfort is not needed, mercy for failure not needed, mourning not known about, a poor spirit not recognised. So much of what Jesus shares speaks to those who desire to walk righteously, and whose desire is to walk as Jesus walked.

I tried all the examples and emotional insights into what is Jesus's heart and how we are to empathise, but it was like I was talking a different language. It appears if you keep emotionally silent and have faith, you are a slave to sin and the emotional addictions that control ones behaviour. Part of walking in the light is seeing what stirs us and what is important and what is part of the journey, possessions for instance.

As a slave and making sense of salvation through faith, the answer could be we are just meant to admit we are slaves and need Jesus as a substitution for the debt sin implies. This is true, but also not everything. It is the beginning of the light, but its power is a changed heart, the new creation of how we love, share and care for ourselves and others. God bless you
