There's no doubt about it. After WW2, George Patton went insane.
patton died a few months after the surrender of germany. he was hit while in his assigned military vehicle and was hit on the passenger which broke his neck. The driver assigned to patton was at fault. i have seen the car and will post it, and the info to it,if interested.

ever heard of the patton museum at ft.knox?

I was surprised to learn that there is a conspiracy theory that Patton was assassinated.

In clear and frequent violation of his orders, he was building up German military might in order to fight the Russians. The problem is, he might have been right.

i recall, yet his last words were not to charge the driver and that dying wish was granted.

It's 32 degrees (0 Celsius) here in Chapala, for the first time in years.

^ Too hot for me. I am most comfortable around -10. When i was in Northern Michigan and West Virgina a few years back (Michigan in the summer and Virgina in the winter) It was so hot i felt sick, lol

As long as he's not a Dallas Cowboys fan...

Speaking of the Dallas Cowboys: the Minnesota Vikings buried them this afternoon, 34-3, eliminating the Cowboys from the play-offs. Near the end of the game, Keith Brookings, a Dallas player, ran over to the Vikings complaining about how many points they were getting.

No, I didn't make that up, so let's all shed a tear for the big crybaby.

:D Good ol' southern California has some RAIN a comin'... we need it, but it will probably cause plenty of accidents and other troubles. Californian's cannot drive in the wet~ :shrug

neither can some Floridians gotta love it when people drive in the hard rain and forget to turn on the headlights. :mad Or my favorite when the do its only the marker lights. What are they afraid of killing the alternator?

:D Hi Jason!

I KNOW what you mean~ I think there are at least three things that MOST californian drivers do not
understand about driving in the rain.

1) Headlights are necessary for good visability of vehicles. There are many states in the U.S. that require your headlights be on, even in broad daylight, when it is raining... but NOT in California. :shrug

2) Keeping a minimum of five car lengths behind the car in front of yours is wise. Californian's love to follow on the tail of the car in front of them... :lol

3) Driving at or below the speed limit to be sure that you can see far enough in front of you to make appropriate driving decisions would be the LEAST you should do... Inclimate weather is a calamity in "sunny california"~ Who actually SLOWS DOWN in it? Also, I do not think anybody knows what hydroplaining is~ until its way too late! :o

Here's a picture of how we Californian's "handle" inclimate weather.

There is no place for the wet to go but down muddy hills... Heck with the rain~ Batman MUST fly! :lol
