Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

You posting Paul writing over the prophets. If the prophet already have spoken concerning the dead why do you doubt the prophets, in the first place? 2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. The prophets had the Holy Ghost to, they no the word of God before Paul.

Solomon says in Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

For the living know not any thing, neither any more reward
. Why? Once you're dead there is no more hope. If you went to the grave in Christ, he will awake you in the first resurrection, and you will live and reign on the earth with him and the saints. If you did not die in Christ he will wake you in the second resurrection and you will be judged according to your works. If you are dead do you have any memory? What did Solomon say? "For the memory of them is forgotten". Now we know you have no more memory while you are in the grave. If you did something wrong to a person and they're dead, you don't have to worry, they won't come and haunt your house.

Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

This verse speaks for itself. To put it short you don't remember anything while you are in the grave. Why does he continue to say "under the sun"? He's said it twice. We will find out a little later.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave whither thou goest.

If there is no work, no device, no knowledge, no wisdom, in the grave, why does
he status quo say there are spirits that walk the earth? They have no knowledge of the Word of God. There are spirits that walk the earth, but they are not dead people.

If Paul and Solomon was alive you would be starting a argument between them to.
We all have to live or die with what or whom we believe. While this body will go back to where it came from, I shall never see death (even though I deserved it) For my Spirit shall go back to Him who gave it. For I have been purchased with His blood and nothing (Nothing!) shall separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ.

Who Told you, When you Die you go to Heaven?
God!
And that's good enough. No man rebukes what God has set in place.

1 Corinthians 2:9
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”

Luke 23:43 And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Hebrews 10:14
For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Very true scripture Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. This spirit is called the breath of life, let's go into Genesis 2: 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Now here's the tricky part, we know that the spirit goes back to God, but we do not know where, the Lord put the spirit. Let's go back into Ecclesiastes 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? This is the confusion that we are dealing with this day. It's so important to understand the Bible and really read and make sense of things, because this is a old question or thought, about where the spirit goes. But lets take a look at something Jesus said in John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. How absolute is no man.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. How absolute is no man.
At least not until Christ, who is the first fruits.(1 Cor. 15:23) But Elijah and Enoch went somewhere? But it does not matter what I do not know or am sure of. But I have an idea (Lazarus and the rich man) (Luke 16:19-31). Joseph's description of Hades (believed by the Christian Jew). I also have Christ's promises of which I trust in more than my own thoughts. The world has totally rebuked or corrupted Christ's Doctrine. Every program and news organization has promoted the acceptance of sin, and some even claim God's love accepts sinful behavior. There are 16 million LDS; 1.285 billion Catholic's; 1,446 million CofC followers; 108 million JW's, And some Islamic information below. The body of Christ is a minority. With all this religion in the world, where is the peace and brotherly love? I haven't even included Baptist. While I hate those who corrupt this creation into a dry and fruitless barren world, heaping chaos, savagery and sin on the backs of men while they sit in their high towers of influence and money, legends in their own minds......I grieve, as I see their ending, and the stark utter helplessness that there is no escape. And now all of a sudden, they have no money or influence nor mercy, receiving as they dished out in utter terror, knowing they did wrong to begin with like the rich man in (Luke 16:22-25)
Islam projected to be world's largest religion ... - USA TODAY

"Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help".
Preachers are misleading people into believing fantasy stories.

If you have a logical bone in your body you know that is sheer nonsense.
The stories told by religious leaders and propagandas spread since the first century are indeed world wide enormous falsehoods originated , with God's Permission, to test His people to see who will actually wait on God and Trust God and Believe God ....
Most people believe men and follow men.
There 'seems' to be no way to convince anyone of truth unless God first takes the veil away and they seek the truth every day.
