Why America is MIA in the End Times

I had no idea that Dr. David Jeremiah succeeded Tim LaHaye, another popular Bible prophecy teacher, as pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in 1981.

It seems I am always disappointed when radio preachers I respect attempt to teach Revelation.

I have gotten used to it. most of the pastors I listen to are this way. there is one that isn't but I don't hear him on the radio. he is the grandson of Billy Graham
 
Why America is MIA in the End Times
My personal thoughts on this question are.. Because what most folks teach or believe is "end times" is not end times....
Most of what is thought of today as ET happened in 70 AD.
Most ET teaching IMO skips over a few verses

Mat_23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
Mat_24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Also many see The Revelation as a revealing of an antichrst as apposed to the reveling of Jesus Christ... ( the four horsemen as an example)

Those who dont agree are my brothers and sisters in the Lord i hope they feel the same about me... :) . ones view of ET is not unto salvation...

Before i get hammered I believe in His return...

When we look around and check out the news worldwide, its hard to believe we are already in the Millenium! Or are we in the New Heavens and and the New Earth?:)

so what is your idea of a falling star or the literal one of the sun turning black? a partial solar eclipse. I have seen a partial eclipse and a full one. It went dark for a few minutes and it was over. what was that to be afraid of? I turned my lights on as I was driving then turned them off.

That remark was tongue-in-cheek. Everything from Revelation 6 to Revelation 19 is coming in the future. We ain't seen nothing yet.

Oh Please tell me that the New Millennium is better than this garbage pit we are living in.

Look at our world.Yes,physically we have beauty that has been created by God and we are thankful for that but look at the news.It is heartbreaking.And you can not say it has always been like this because the sin and the horrible things that have been happening have escalated.

Added Never mind i think i got it... you are asking about preterism...

I believe what Jesus said .. I believe when he said 'this generation' He was speaking to those of that generation... etc

I would not label myself a pretersit...

Are you looking at Matthew 24:34?That everything that Jesus speaks of in Matthew 24 occurred within one generation?And that the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 was "Judgment Day"?
 
I certainly believe the war circa 70 AD was God's judgment. Do you ? That destruction was of God's plan right?
I believe the Olivet Discourse was about the coming destruction ...of that war

uhm who are the apostles? just asking if you believe that book to be literal and whom will slay them?

The Olivet Discourse is in reference to Israel and not the Church.Christ was speaking of God's future for Israel.
That is my opinion.
