Why Christians confuse me.

If a martial art has a pagan religious spirit behind it, you can be vulnerable to it. It could be a form of worship. Do you want to possibly be guilty before God of worshiping an idol? Do you want to be guilty of entering into a pagan rite?

Do some research, so that you won't have anything to be judged for.

Man, could someone that practices martial arts tell me what could potentially be evil to Alabaster, besides the origin?

I'm imagining it's a series of body motions.. with breathing techniques.

And since I can't see someone tripping, accidentally making one of the motions that a Martial Artist would do, and then getting sent to hell.. I'm just going to assume theres something else there.

Can you give me a reference from the Bible where he says he wrote everything we could possibly know in this tiny book?

It doesnt and the scripture I provided below basically tells us that there is so much Christ has done that the bible doesnt mention everything. I take this as it can mean even before the creation of humans and the creation of the universe and everything else Christ was always doing something amazing. Keep in mind that Christ is eternal so there is no beginning or no end. It is easy to see how he can do so much that the world itself could not contain the books if you were to write everything he did. I also agree with Alabaster, while the bible may not contain every single thing God did, it is ALL we need to know to do well in this life and inherit the eternal life to come.


John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen"

I suggest you do your own research rather than elicit advice from people on a forum. If you are a Christian, ask God and He will lead you---if you let Him.

I don't think you even know what Martial Arts practices. Quite frankly, Im surprised you completely avoided the fact that you said you could celebrate Christmas but Martial Arts was still wrong.

I mean, you even stated that YOU make Christmas what it is.. and somehow you can't see the same for Martial Arts?

You are right, I can't. Either way, it is an individual thing, isn't it? Just be careful to do what God wants.
