Why didn't CHRIST invite doctors?

(1 Kings 15:16-22)
The Death and Burial of Asa

11And, behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. 12And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians. 13And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign. 14And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries' art: and they made a very great burning for him.
 
Also, Paul was not poor of sight; in the KJV he writes, "11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand."
It is the modern translations that take the word 'letter' and add an S to it. Look at the verses above and below it, it makes no sense to interpret it as letters in relation to eyesight. That is something that is added in with religious tradition; the text does not support it.
Large a letter would be that he has had to write a giant letter to them to bring them into right believing.

With the thorn in the flesh (or as we would say today, 'pain in the neck' (when you do not have a pain in your neck, nor pain at all, it is a vexing)), the Scripture specifically and in no uncertain terms says that it was a demon, sent by Satan, to buffet Paul, lest he should be exalted above measure through the abundance of revelations that he was receiving from the Lord. So who did not want him exalted? Satan.
Why would God give him the revelations and then say, "Uh, well Paul, I know I gave those revelations to you, but since I made a mistake, now we have to work with Satan and get him to send you a demon to bust you up, because I really don't want you exalted above measure..."? No, God told him that His GRACE (unmerited favor) was sufficient for him; if God were to say it in our vernacular, it would be "Paul, what I provided through My favor (at the cross) is sufficient, use it!" What was provided for us by grace? Complete authority over the Devil, and power over his power.
Search the Scriptures, God never says to pray to Him to get the Devil off your back, rather, He tells YOU to do it - YOU take authority over Him in the name and blood of Jesus.

Plus, it was a messenger of Satan to buffet him, buffet has nothing to with sickness or disease, but is a sailing term for when you have wind on either side of your sail which causes you to go nowhere. Then you read through Acts and you see this demon starting with that demon-possessed girl and then Paul casts it out of her and then those people incite a riot against them and then when they move on to another city, the demon causes those people to find out about it and then incite another riot, and then the same thing happens again, and so not much has happened in Paul's ministry through that time. Then he tells Timothy that with all that junk that happened at Iconium, Derbe and wherever the 3rd place was, that praise God, God delivered him OUT of them all.

the point is that some teach that we wont die from sickness, if we do its because of lack of faith and or sin. problem. age. body parts die out. that is why posted that. we will die. healing and healthy are perspective. a 90 able to walk is a blessing, but to me that isn't a blessing but normal functioning. though I have seen that to walk is a blessing. to me running, mma without the knee pain is a blessing.

Claim what Moses had under the old, inferior Covenant: perfect eyesight and the strength of a young man at 120 years old. To have the strength of a young man means you can do whatever a young man could do.
Also Psalm 103:5, take your youth renewal everyday.

Curse of the Rodain, Amen, brother. I agree totally. To have a sinful thought, is not a sin. When we cast it down and put it out of our mind then we continue to walk with the Lord in His righteousness. When we dwell upon it and continue to think about it, then WHOOSH, down into our heart it goes and becomes a part of us. Not doing the sin is not enough, we can not even think about it or use our imagination about adultery with a girl. It's the same as committing the sin itself. We shall be judged of our very thoughts and imaginations. This is in scripture brothers and sisters. I think it is because our imagination is a door to the spiritual realm and our true reality. What you dwell upon is who you become.

But what if I dwell on God and girls continually, back and forth.
Is it not the type of battle we all face everyday?
We must not get down on ourselves if we struggle in certain areas of our life.
Just keep on turning back to Jesus.

I think our struggles with doctors is in the same line of thinking.
We want to believe that Jesus will heal us but are afraid he won't.
We think we need to go to a doctor to get well and our imagination tells us we will die if we do not.
We have to understand that there is a place for doctors in our lives but not for everything.

When we feel sick, we want to run to a doctor.
Society tells us this is the thing to do.
We need health insurance, life insurance, house insurance, insurance to cover insurance.
No wonder we are broke and don't have much money to serve God with.

The ways of the world have a hold on us and only Jesus can break that, and only if we let him.
I've suffered through everything I just said.
Some I've overcome, others I still struggle with.
But the closer we draw to Jesus, the more we overcome.

But don't expect to get it all right until we meet our maker.
 
there are many people without doctors, and without access to doctors. they may serve Yhwh, the one true Creator Almighty King, or they may serve other god, as they choose.
people with money may choose also. serve the one true Creator Almighty King,
or serve other god. the multitudes choose to serve the world, and Jesus tells them so (in the Gospels and on Judgment Day).
we (family) went to doctors all our lives since birth. my mom did whatever the family doctor said to do, and we still survived! :) ... when we learned better, we started surviving BETTER! :) (without sickness, worry and doubts, instead of with those). Now we have Joy and Healing, instead of sorrow and fear and depression. Even if we get sick, it is no longer from the world power we seek help, but from Jesus and whom He chooses(and the difference is the difference between LIFE and death, between being made whole, and being broken more and more.).

That's true. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. So we have to strive to remain focused upon God. As I said, what we dwell upon is who we become. So we have to spend more time dwelling upon God than any other thing. What we think about goes into our heart and forms the man. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So whichever is in abundance in our heart, the sinful man or the Godly man is what will be on our lips. It is a war within and a constant struggle to remain focused.It's like filling a cup with water or some other liqued. As one liqued gets poured in the other is forced out, not enough room. We're not making chocolate milk. Sin and God will not mix. More like oil and water.

So we must strive to fill our cups with the living water of God and as he fills the cup it runneth over and the sinful old man is pushed out. Not enough room. So if we don't keep our eyes upon the Lord and constantly mindful of Him and His presence and His ways...we begin to regress immediately. Just like when Peter was walking on the water...as soon as he took his eyes from the Lord, he began to sink.

It all ties in with healing also. The more belief you have have, the more the power of God can flow through you to heal and touch people. At some point, you may get to where even if your shadow falls upon someone, they will be healed. Remember that? :)
 
Just remember that if Jesus (and His Word) said we could do it, or if He told us to do something, then that means we CAN actually do it. Otherwise He would be unjust to tell us something we cannot do (ie with the example of Jairus hearing his daughter has just DIED, and Jesus hears it and tells him, fear not, believe ONLY, and she shall be made whole...obviously it was possible for Jairus to do that, or else Jesus could not have said it - on top of that, Jesus could not have helped him if he didn't follow Jesus' instructions).
 
true. that means, doesn't it, of course, that if and when we don't see happen what Jesus said to expect, something's wrong somewhere. it does not mean, however, to seek the miracles or the gifts or whatever.... I believe simply seek God more fully to find out from Him. He knows.

Ok, so then since Jesus healed, I think, 20 or maybe 21 people in his life on earth (I'd have to research to be sure, but its close), I guess you are saying that these were the only people in need of healing that he ever encountered in his travels? Just 20 or so. And just to verify; you are saying God is our servant, making all of us His master? Not the other way around?

Maybe you could answer Allenwynnes question for me then... Why doesn't God heal him?

The Most High always used people to help people and give messages, like prophets, so if someone is sick, they go see a doctor, who helps them.

Thats what God wanted and still wants, people to look after and take care of each other, Christ set the example to follow.

If your sick go see a doctor and they have the skills to help heal. Man helps man, and if someone needs help or support, you help them, thats the law of God.

This is true. The only times I've seen actual true healings performed directly by God (by that I mean ones that I personally witnessed or took part in and personally had verified), the purpose (as proven over time) was to bring glory to God and to accomplish His will. And His will was to bring people to Him who didn't know Him and to strengthen the faith and testimony of those who did, including the healed person. It wasn't about making a sick person feel better even though that happened. It was about glorifying God. Seeking miraculous healing from God needs to be sought after for the purpose of Glorifying Him. If all we are interested in is ridding ourselves of a sickness or injury, we need to go and see the doctors that God has provided!
