Why do these certain things exist ?

Death. Cars. Sexual attraction. Money. Music. The incel movement. And finally Canada. And what would the world be like without these things ?

Because of sin.

Cars.

Because man is creative.

Sexual attraction.

Because God is creative.

Money.

Because man is creative.

Music.

First and foremost because God is creative, but secondarily because man is creative.

The incel movement.

Because of sin.

And finally Canada.

Because people.

And what would the world be like without these things ?

Without the sinful things, the world would be a much better place. Without the non-sinful things it would be much more boring.

If it wasn't for the faith Noah had having favor in God none of us would be here. God doesn't want us to fret about the things of this world being wordly matters, but God is concerned about you being His own rising above all the evil that is in this world. We might have to live in this world, but this is not our eternal home.

Canada exists because they did not sign the decoration of Independence and they remained loyal to the British government.

Each of these exists because of how God designed the world and how human choices shape culture. Death came through sin, cars and money come from human creativity and need, sexual attraction is part of God’s design for love and family, and music reflects the beauty He placed in creation. Even countries like Canada are part of how people gather and build societies, and people who identify as incels are individuals made in God’s image, often dealing with loneliness and hurt.

Without these things, the world would look very different, but God can still use even the hard or confusing parts of life to point us back to Him. It’s worth asking how we can live wisely with these things while keeping our focus on what really matters.
