Strengthening families through biblical principles.
Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

Terrible things were done in the name of Christ and it matters not whether such persons were real Christians or not as the world sees no difference. We must acknowledge that Christianity has much darkness in it's past and even occasionally in the present.
(ESV)
All religions and world views claim to hold the truth or some hold the position that we might not know the truth. So it should be no surprise that Christians would be told they are wrong by other religions, just as Christianity tells other religions that they are wrong.
The reason Christianity is attacked is because not only are other religions contrary to Christianity, but because the nature of man is contrary to it. We don't love God or have the Spirit to even know God before conversion. It is our innate nature to hate God that gives us the reason why Christianity is attacked. We have the world as our example.

Although I hear a lot of Christians complaining about being 'attacked', I have very rarely seen it happen. As with beauty, evil is in the eye of the beholder.
Thanks for your responce. Your first few sentences really made me lol.Hi Classik,Has anyone ever suggested to you that you should be an interviewer. I'm imagining Larry King's voice saying, 'Do you call them sinner?,' with his rusty voice and pointed questions. If you remember that question to Joel Osteen, you'll remember that Joel responded, 'I never thought about it, but I probably don't.' Incredible. You set your questions up on a tee like Larry King. Merry Christmas Aardverk,
I think you should have qualified, 'I have very rarely seen it happen. As with beauty, evil is in the eye of the beholder," with where you live or have been. You can read daily the persecution of Christians all around the world, the severest forms in the Muslim world and Africa, many eastern countries. Evil is best put in light of not the beholder, but the God of the Bible.

I have traveled the world the but spent most time in the USA and Europe (almost every country).
I question the premise that they are - any more than any other vocal group.

Hi Aardverk,
It doesn't matter if you question it or not. It's important that we acknowledge and pray for those who are persecuted, even if they don't have faith in the One true God. It's important to not only pray for the one is being persecuted, but the one who is persecuting. The only religion that teaches a person to love his enemies, Christianity, shows the disparity that all other religions fall short, but even the professed believers of Christianity fall short to live up to the impossible standard. If anything, what you say shows the depravity of man.
