Why is there so much resistance to the eternal security of the believer?

This seems to have drifted far from the question of the OP, and has gone into the same old argument over OSAS, making the same points that have recently been made many times. I'm closing this thread. If people want to read about OSAS there are several other very lengthy threads on this.
