WHY man is unable to choose Jesus and the Gospel

False.

Changing the words of scripture, to fit your own private interpretation is the mark of false teaching.

The "world" refers to the unsaved people of the world.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

  • but that the world through Him might be saved.

I thought you said the elect were saved?
Jn 3:16-17 refer only to the elect, its elementary.

Well, you, John the Baptist, his Mother and Father, myself and everyone in the world are born into this world dead in sin and totally depraved. And there is nothing anyone can do about it.
I disagree.
It is written..."The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him." (Ezek 18:20)

Whose sins were you born with ?

If you go by that, you still totally depraved and dead in sin !
Were my turn from sin without my baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of past sins, I would still have my past sins to worry about.
But my turn from sin was accompanied by water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my past sins.
That baptism also provided for my rebirth from God's seed.
So if God's seed genders depravity and death, you would be correct.
But it doesn't, and you are incorrect.

Do you think God's seed genders depravity and death ?

Thats the elect. God doesnt love anyone else but His Own Elect, and Christ didnt die for anyone but His Sheep which is the same as Gods elect if you didnt know.

So far, you believe the world is the elect.
His sheep are His elect.

In the following scripture, please identify who is the elect and who is the lost.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 1 John 2:2

  • and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

So if you believe the world = the elect.

Who does “ours” refer to?

Yes they are in that they are totally dead spiritually, yet men manifest their depravity in different degrees and ways, but they are totally estranged from the True God

Nothing new here, just a loop, a ping-pong. You say Yes, I say No. I flinch again as polytheistic terms, and deny again that there is a true god. “We do not believe in a god—for this would imply a possible or conceivable multiplication of gods—but only in God” (George Tyrrell’s Lex Orandi: 1903:76—slightly altered).

Do you believe the world and “ours” are both referring to the elect?
