DO your own research. Im not doing it for you. Your starting point should be The Messiah and the APostles. They were all speaking in the present tense of that generation. Ask yourself who was the Lord talking to. Were you there, no, are there 2000 year old Apostles walking the earth if some of them would still be alive when he returned, again no. Did the Messiah lie, no,did he mislead them, no. Were they fully expecting him to return in their life,yes. I used to think it was always ahead until i freed myself from the teachings of men who since the 1700s have been teaching a future end and concentrated on THe Messiah and what he said.
 
It is possible Revelations was written before 70AD considering the author was John, who most likely died prior to that year.
