Winning the Lottery

People have dreams of winning the lottery and what they would do with the money...
They believe that they could be generous and do wonderful things with it...

Never once getting the warning that the love of money leads people into all kinds of despicable behavior.

Read this LINK to see what became of those who did and those who didn't change their lifestyles.

My best friend won the first Lottery Million in Florida. He altered his lifestyle a little, but he has not wasted any of it.

I think that my eternal salvation and tommorow's baptism is actually better than winning the lottery.

The latest sole winner of the 533 million dollar lottery says that he is planning on doing some good by helping out family and friends and charities. (He took the lump sum payment)

It's going to be rough for that family.
He's going to have to move to a house with a gated fence to keep away family and strangers. People are going to pester him for money.

Yes, they are. My friend told me that I was one of only a few who did not ask him for $. And he only won one million.

There are ways of getting around the moochers. First thing I would do is give to a ministry I work with in India that they would want for nothing. Then my family and friends and other certain charity's would receive help. Then my husband and I would go off the grid.

Anyone would need a good adviser if they suddenly come into a lot of money if they were not already wealthy.

One guy who won 90 million already was worth 14 million.
But his wife divorced him, his granddaughter and daughter both died from drugs...

I've bought one or two about 20 years ago. But I kind of think being content with what I've got is more important. That way money doesn't bind me up.
As has been said before, many people who have a big car want a bigger car.
Many people who have a big house, want a bigger house.

Contentment does away with the lottery for me. Also, the Bible helped me too.

I think I have bought 1 lottery ticket in my life probably 35 years ago. My Dad used to send me to get all kinds of Lottery tickets for him, sometimes $35-$50 per day. I hate the lottery, lol. I never have been much of a gambler as far as lottery tickets go. I remember as a teen friends who always went to the horse race track. They always tried to get me to go with them but I had no interest in it because I told them "they always went with their paychecks but came back broke!"
