It was a long conversation with the superintendent ....he gave some testimonies about his life. One statement which he made (and which I have realised is true) is, yet in your faithless and impatient state...GOD doesn't care but can still work wonders in your life.
 
Hebrews 11 says: 'Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him'.
 
I can't agree that God doesn't care, but I do agree that God works wonders in people lives who have no faith. I have listened to testimonies of atheists and even witches being healed, and they had no faith.
 
Yes, faith is a real issue in our lives, the lack of it, as I think.

I presume one does not need to go to superintendent to find out.

Mark 16:17-18
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover./(KJV)

The Apostles had the faith and healed non-believers also. God does not change so the same is true even today, but here's a scripture to support it. I think the only way that the person being healed would need to have the faith, is if they were the one needing healing.

Are you aware of how many healings are taking place right now worldwide? There's more healings now than ever before. The Lord is moving in these last days and manifesting all sorts of miracles, signs & wonders. The world has never been in this bad of condition (spiritually) so the Lord is moving. The Anti-Christ knows the time is short and is making moves...and the Lord is countering, praise His Holy Name. Youboob is replete with testimonials about healings. Of course some may be faked, but many others are true. I can say this with confidence because when I watching spiritual vids, the Holy Spirit will ping my spirit (bear witness to) to let me know if what I am watching is true or not. I do not get pinged on all of them, but many I do.

I do not think Jesus Christ healed non-believers. According to gospels, the manifestation of faith was followed by healing. I am not sure apostles healed non-believers too.

Regarding Mark 16:17-18, I am skeptical because I think this text is not found in the early christian libraries. I think this text is also missing in the early (i.e. forth century) Bibles.

35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:35-38 NIV

Jesus will use a non believer to become a testimony for His goodness and mercy. There are many scriptures in the Holy Bible that supports this.

I think what Classik Means - correct me if I'm wrong - is that God uses whomever He wants for a role in His will being played out. Of course God wants us to be righteous and faithful, He loves us. But, people will be used by God in whatever state of Grace they're in. God meets us at the point of our needs.

I must be missing something. I am not suggesting a debate, I am only testing what my heart tells me.

If you could just show one example of a non-believer being healed by Jesus? Or by apostles, or by disciples?

The scriptures teaches us that Jesus cast out over 2,000 demons in one man. This man became a testimony for Jesus to tell others about His goodness and His mercy (Mark 5:1-20 NLT). This man did not have the Holy Spirit in him.

There are more scriptures!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 NKJV

He became a believer.

Example #2 - the story of Moses - Remember Moses murdered a man.

The scriptures teaches us that Moses went from making excuses in Exodus 4:10-14 KJV, out into righteousness that he told God to repent and the bible said God repented! Exodus 32:9-14 KJV

Why is this important to you? God is either sovereign or He isn't. If God is sovereign - as I believe - He needs no prior criteria of faith; He will save whom He will save, He will heal whom He will heal.

In the New Testament writings it's clear that faith plays an important part in healing. When Jesus heals, he frequently says something like "you have been healed by your faith." It's never clear, however, that healing can be accomplished ONLY through faith.

Question for you? Can a believer have demon possession with over 2,000 legions in him or her where the Holy Spirit dwells at the same time? You have very good questions! Please click on post #12 link. This is the key that will give you a better understanding that will download knowledge into your spirit.
