They should have taken her and the seat to the emergency room together. I would think that the prankster put glue around the whole seat. So skin would be left on the seat when they lifted her off of it. She has a suit case for sure.

How was Home Depot negligent? I can't think of anyway they can be held responsible.

The only thing I can think of that they could have had was a surveillance camera in the hallway which could help (maybe) in tracking who did it, but that's not negligence, it wouldn't have helped prevent it from happening.
