Women vs Men

Most of those are sexist and untrue.
Worse, it makes women look ridiculous and silly.

What about the one with the colors? Doesn't that make men look simple minded and insinuate that they can't tell the difference? It was a man (me) that posted that one. That last one I posted insinuates that all men have done something that they wish their wives/girlfriends would forget. Not all of these are sexist against women. Some of them are sexist against men. But for some reason, that seems to be more acceptable.

Yes,it was making fun of men.But sometimes women are made fun of.I guess you can't be too sensitive and have a sense of humor sometimes.

The shadow or the reality?

The Church is the bride of Christ. Since Jesus is the bridegroom then the Church is neither male or female and we all stand before the mirror, have to be reminded to change our minds, etc.

The one about colours is making women look ridiculous.
Also, no real woman I ever met would care to name 4 different shades of purple. And for whaat reason would you, unless you are overly interested in fashion or beauty stuff. And portraying women as being overly interested in fashion and beauty is making them look ridiculous.

Also, if you really think those images are sexist you shouldn't post them, but stand up against that kind of sexism.

What if it was like:

White supremacist: Hahaha, that was a funny joke!

African American: You're attacking me!! :shame

Still funny?

Yeah, but it wasn't. lighten up Claudy, this was a humorous thread, not one attacking women. In fact, I have it on authority that the thread was initially posted by a woman. One with a sense of humor and light-heartedness. Being overly defensive is not healthy. It can stop relationships from forming, prevent relationships from truly working in the long term, lose opportunities for us, and stop us from learning and developing, as any new knowledge will seem threatening. Don't be so grumpy sister!

Tell you what post a few jokes about men and watch me laugh! :lol
It's just in fun.

Color blindness is common among men not so much with women.I definately am not overly interested in fashion and beauty.Purple? Egg Plant is my favorite color.

I'm not grumpy in general (and even if I were I'd have a reason why I became such a person; and you couldn't seriously ask me not to be myself anymore), but feminsim is very important to me. That's an area I can't take light heartedly. Lots of women in the world suffer due to being considered inferior humans.

Well as long as a man (or a woman) is capable of telling red and green apart they aren't colour blind.

You should refer to the colour by it hexadecimal code. That would be way more precise.

We sure do sister. Laughter and light heartedness is one of Gods greatest gifts/creations. Laughter is the best medicine. It feels good to be able to detach a bit and just laugh at oneself.

If you think about humor...jokes...at their core there is a wrongness of sorts somehow. Someone fell down, spilled something on themselves, something. But at the same time...it's funny, we laugh. usually because it's not us, lol. But the best jokes have a bit of insult at their core. But it's not presented with a hurtful heart, that's the key to it.

Jesus had a great sense of humor, it's in scripture. I almost missed it and then it kicked me in the teeth so to speak. When Jesus appeared to the disciples after the resurrection, on the road to Emmaus (spelling?), he toyed with them.

Luke 24"16-19
16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

19 And he said unto them, What things?.../

Now the crucifixion was a big event and everyone knew what happened, and Jesus comes off like He doesn't know. I wonder how hard it was for Him to keep a straight face when He said this to them? "what things?" That strikes me as incredibly funny. He knew exactly what they were talking about! He was playing with them, leading them on, like a loving friend or teacher. Yes, our Lord has a fabulous sense of humor. Praise god! :)

Are women generally mad at their partners?

I don't know. that's a pretty open-ended question with too many variables to give a definitive answer to. Depends on a lot of things. What are you mad about, good sister? What would cheer you up?

A noble cause for sure. Sufferage has already been championed though in the lands of most all of the people here who you speak to. So much time has passed it has become heritage. There is no turning back and nobody save for a few loud and ignorant that would have it so. I dont and cant speak for where you come from. Does your gender not have the right to vote over there?

In my experience, feminists are female supremacists. It stopped being about equality decades ago. Women in the western world have all the same legal rights as men. They're not fighting for equality, since they already have that. They want to be considered better than men.

I'm not sure I understand what feminism has to do with jokes. Does someone making a joke take away your rights somehow? You're free to make some man jokes if you like. It's just in fun. We're all just people. No one is inferior to the other. There are aspects of being male or female that are humorous. It's just life.

Is feminism really a drive for equality, or supremacy? :lol (That's a joke, Claudya.)

(Oh! TOG beat me to it! LOL!) :lol
