Women vs Men

A noble cause for sure. Sufferage has already been championed though in the lands of most all of the people here who you speak to. So much time has passed it has become heritage. There is no turning back and nobody save for a few loud and ignorant that would have it so. I dont and cant speak for where you come from. Does your gender not have the right to vote over there?

In my experience, feminists are female supremacists. It stopped being about equality decades ago. Women in the western world have all the same legal rights as men. They're not fighting for equality, since they already have that. They want to be considered better than men.

True, it's not about legal rights so much anymore in mosts western countries. But in everyday life there is still a lot of sexism around that hasn't ceased with the introduction of equal legal rights.
Most of feminism in our world today is about equal payment, prevention of sexual harrasment or rape, fighting for a fair portrayal of women in media, fighting for women's education, safety and access to resources in non-western countries, and other such things.

Maybe she should contest for an election and win the presidency so that you guys should also suffer what her women suffered. I will qualify her with one thing: she is a kind of a Real Madrid club amidst a La Liga league.

It does in so far that you and Northman and TOG brought up legal equality as an argument against feminism (or at least as a argument that feminism should be restricted to legal questions. So as it is a response to your argumentation it has something to do with this thread.

But it's not an overreaction if you consider the detrimental effects "jokes" can have. Most of those jokes have their roots in existing stereoypes and help keeping the stereotype alive.

Legal equality isn't an argument against feminism. That's what feminism is about, is equality for women. I was just trying to say that feminism has nothing to do with humor. And like I said earlier, all jokes do have their core in a wrongness somehow, but that in no way means that they are given or should be taken offensively. Jokes can be used in an offensive manner, but they're not usually.

It's mostly perspective. While women do have the short end of the stick in a lot of ways in life, men also have a pretty short stick in many other ways that most women fail to even recognize because we've all been taught to behave one way or another. anyway, back to topic

Most people on here(male and female)could give oceans of testimony of how "femminism" has done nothing but destroy. They dont give them for the same reason they dont respond to every single sexist jab you make. They love you. They pussy-foot around almost every single thing you have to say about the subject and its not cause you have some higher moral ground to stand on, its love. They understand there is a problem and its roots have nothing to do with anything political at all. When(not if) this rage and anger are stripped from you in God's good time, the entire memory will be silly. The problem in itself? Anything but silly and it is the honour and pleasure of the family to help you through.

There is no heavy sigh, animosity, begrudging toleration, boxxing gloves, or anything else. There is only "Oh look Claudia is in a rut. God please use myself or someone else with a heart to help to be able to ease her burden today." This is what its like around true brothers and sisters, of whom you are virtually surrounded and is exactly what they are doing.

Hey why does everyone think I was feeling bad, huh? :-p Question... what exactly does it mean to feel femine? It's kind of hard to grasp for me because I've been female for all my life and not having the other experience I can't really know what femininity feels like. I only know what it feels like to be me.

Yeah, but you walk on a higher level than most. I don't (usually!) go around insulting my man friends either. I came to realize that it's just a froward mouth which we are to guard against. I used to be the king of talking crap, could play the dozens with the best of them. But we grow up eventually after 30 or 40 years lol.

While i understand that times change and women are to have a certain level of respect and strength recognition, I appreciate femininity in a woman, as well as strength.
