A noble cause for sure. Sufferage has already been championed though in the lands of most all of the people here who you speak to. So much time has passed it has become heritage. There is no turning back and nobody save for a few loud and ignorant that would have it so. I dont and cant speak for where you come from. Does your gender not have the right to vote over there?
In my experience, feminists are female supremacists. It stopped being about equality decades ago. Women in the western world have all the same legal rights as men. They're not fighting for equality, since they already have that. They want to be considered better than men.

True, it's not about legal rights so much anymore in mosts western countries. But in everyday life there is still a lot of sexism around that hasn't ceased with the introduction of equal legal rights.
Most of feminism in our world today is about equal payment, prevention of sexual harrasment or rape, fighting for a fair portrayal of women in media, fighting for women's education, safety and access to resources in non-western countries, and other such things.
