The highlighted test. The short version is...
Both males and females are by nature endowed with personality aspects of God... albeit through our fallen sin natures poor representations of it. And while God is not at variance with himself, we are for the simple fact that we possess unique aspects of his personality and not both.
The antagonistic brawls and outlandish differences between the genders is due to the fallen-ness of our natures.
We can learn affinity with the other gender. But it is a gross evil to try to become the other gender. And fallen human society has been trying to make men of women and women of men for quite some time.
But it is natural not to understand the opposite gender.
If I liked the guy and he wanted me to try makeup, I'd be open to try it. It's an awful lot of trouble to go to, though, and I look fine without it.You will spend about half an hour on makeover when that cute guys giraffenecks you and is serious. ;-)
And fools believe that nonsense, but I don't.Women are said to be more mature than men and also less selfish.
I don't understand the over-makeup-movement today. If I liked the guy and he wanted me to try makeup, I'd be open to try it. It's an awful lot of trouble to go to, though, and I look fine without it.
Well, I'll presuppose you're talking about the stereotypical "cattty" behavior that women are believed to exhibit. So, actually...why do women behave the way they behave and reason the way they reason?
Why?
I guess, yeah. I'd rather be comfortable. Though if I'm going somewhere I make a little more of an effort, only a bit though. Mainly I just don't want to look like a slob.By 'fine' you mean comfortable and okay?
Yup.
Yesterday I was just wearing a favorite t-shirt and jeans. I had barely done more than brush my hair and teeth before I was out the door. Saw my reflection and I actually thought I looked pretty nice. I don't normally think that.
Generally, I've got nothing to prove to and nobody I'm trying to impress, so I don't really bother too much with looks. (Except in job hunting, that's a different story.) Even if I like a guy, in getting him to "notice" me I don't think I'd resort to makeup. If he doesn't like my natural face, then what's the point? lol Though like I said earlier, if I was in a relationship and the guy was interested in me trying light makeup, I'd probably be open to trying it.
I agree. Eventually, he is going to see her without it and then what?If he doesn't like my natural face, then what's the point? lol
Celebrities have to do what they have to do for their professions. They are before cameras, on stage, etc.. It's very different.Celebrities won't like to hear this. They are living in bondage.
The highlighted test.
Does that mean that the fall kind of made men physically stronger than women? I believe God really made some significant differences in the two that the fall didnt even change. you notice how Adam became wonderfully poetic when he first saw Eve. He did some awesome poem: bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh.
And I know in order to keep appearing pleasing to Adam... Eve had to do the mirror thing: several minutes on a makeover. And Adam was kind of woooooooow! she looks amazing.
Grandma will attest to this. heheheheheheh
