It's gonna be a blast! Out of curiosity, is there anyone going to be there?

I'll be there, and I've got my corner reserved. Me and a couple of car nuts from church are going down Saturday morning and putting up tents (not camping tents duh) and plan on breaking out the BBQ and having a great time!

Oh, if you want to see what it looks like in the early morning, go to Google Maps , go to street view and check out all the cool cars! If you're into shoeboxes, you'll have to check out Woodward and Square Lake rd next to I-75. Nice Camaro sitting in the grass just south of there too.

There will be a minimum of 43 Crossfires from Crossfireforum.org - but mine won't be one of them. :sad I can't get any more time off this year - but it would be nice to go, it'll be the second-largest gathering of Crossfires this year.

Call me silly, but no, I do not get excited about that kind of crowd. Indeed, I avoid it. Never been down to the fireworks either. Jeff, I'm sure you're not stereotypical classic far-show dude. Dude sits for hours and hours in a lawn chair in front of his car with the hood popped up. For the life of me, I've never understood dude. :confused

:nag 'Doh...When I saw the title of the thread, I thought...How can they fit 1.5 million people on a ship?

its a classic car thing. i understand why but well the money to do that isnt there. oh i could get a 57 chevy bel air. with original engine from my bil.

he restored that along time ago but.. what would be the point?

Right on Reba! It's about fun and fellowship!

I've already got a bunch of friends that are showing up for a bratz or a burger, and a bunch of other car enthusiasts from the area (The Michigan FBody Association - The Front Page) will be there that I'll get to finally meet :)

So no, were not gonna just sit on a lawn chair and watch the world go by. We'll be at the corner of Woodward and Coolidge in front of the BP station (we rented the spot). One of my buddies has a 57 Chev and the other has a 64 Impalla, so yeah,we're gonna party and have some fun! Ohh, the city of Pontiac has always been pretty lax when it comes to cars, unlike Royal Oak who will slam ya with a fat ticket for revving your engine too high... So yeah... I'll definatly be making my way to Pontiac for some nice smokey burnouts :yes

Don't be a suburban sissy Mike, come on down and have some fun! Ohh, and you can leave your lawn chair at home ;)

:rolling

Admit it though, it was the thought off all that food they feed you on a cruise that lured you into this thread :lol

Ohh man! I love all the food everywhere on a cruise! Must be about lunch time :lol

well i would have to fly to do that. perhaps if you came to say dollywood, i might make a trip for that as my family is near there.
