What Jesus said is "—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, "
What do you THINK that means???

Paul said: "(God) will render to each one according to his deeds; eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; "

It's called double dealing the topic matter Jim, futilely trying to play it both ways.

While it is true that we cannot "earn" our salvation by doing good works (salvation is a gift) neither will we be saved is we neglect the good works

You quote from Romans 2:6: "Who will render to every man according to his deeds:" Romans 2:6 does not say on account of his works, but according to them. The ground or basis of justification is not involved here, but the assigning of rewards. God will render rewards to each one according to his deeds.

1 Corinthians 3:12-16 talks about every mans works will be revealed as to whether they were for the glory of God or the glory of man, not an entrance into heaven.

When it comes to works, this is what we should do. Encourage others on to good works. And as far as I understand it, good works covers a lot of territory.

By your responses, I conclude that you do not want to know the truth even when it is spelled our for your in so many words.

My experience of trying to have a conversation with you has been exactly the same experience I have had when attempting to converse with Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons and liberals.

Since you obviously do not want to know, I'll just add you to may list of people I ignore.
