Can you deny the donut thing with canadians??? No you can't. Some stereotypes are true, this isn't always bad, but sometimes funny. I have been to canada once, there were 4 donut shops within one block, count that one block of my hotel. I really did think Toronto was a pretty cool city though.

I tend to like to make fun of everyone though. The canadians are just one of the easiest targets, second only to the french. :-D

I don't know. I've seen just as much obsession with Krispy Kreme down there as much as Tim Horton's up here.

Coffee shops. Particularily Starbucks. Now that is an obsession.

I swear that there is at least two on every corner in downtown Vancouver.

The hostel

This isn't a redeeming movie in any fashion.

I like horror movies, but this insn't a horror movie as much as a steaming pile. I am not kidding that the first 45 minutes were porn, followed by another 45 minutes of literal torture. I have no idea why I stayed, except thinking it may get better.

This movie is horrible on so many levels that I am angered by it. It takes a lot for me to be offended, but this was disturbing. My room mate invited me and didn't describe it as it turned out. Attrocious plot, perversion, literal torture, bad acting, immorality in almost every fashion.

At the end of the movie in a packed theatre I stood up and nearly yelled "what a piece of C..." Visibly angry I walked out. While at the same time watching men trying to explain why they stayed to their girlfriends who were drug along to a movie like this.

In no uncertain terms, never see this movie. Me sitting through this was enough.

I only saw the preveiws of this at the theater and had to cover my eyes, it was so sick!!!

You might want to stay away from the neighborhood cats for awhile.

Do not go to see The Devils Rejects , I also like some horror movies and from the previews the movie looked like a horror movie to me when I finaly went to see it I had my 15 year old grandson with me , he likes horror films too at least some of them. Well 10 minites into the movie we had , had enough and walked out. It should have had a big sign murder and porn, it was truly so bad niether of us wanted to stay,.

Yes, I had heard that 'The Hostel' was going to be pushing the boundaries of decency in many areas. I think it was intended to be one of the nastiest, sickest horror/slasher films ever made. It seems to be living up to it's hype. The director said that it is not exploitation but a 'revenge' against those that 'exploit'. I don't want to further explain that without giving away some of the plot (Not that too many here may go see it after your review, however).

I heard that 'Chaos' was similar and didn't have any redeeming values either.

How would you have ranked it according to 'Seven' or 'Saw' for the 'nasty' factor?

I would have LOVED to see those boys after the credits rolled! I had a hard time making it up to my wife for taking her to 'Seven' for crying out loud! What did they think, this would be a good 'chick flick' movie?

At least seven had a decent plot line. As gross as some of the scenes were, there was a point besides being just disgusting. And Seven left some things to the imagination. I haven't seen saw.

The "nasty" factor wasn't the problem for me, I work in wound care at a hospital. The problem was that it was completely pointless and unnecessary. It was taken way too far and in a context that wasn't tasteful at all.
