Worthy - are we sinners redeemed by Christ but always worthless

We are never licensed to practice sin, are we?
no and paul covered that what shall we sin because we are under grace ? certainly not . imo the key is the prompting of the spirit .. i have strong holds that comes against me.. that i have to fight off.. i think we can best caption this : Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." the old story of 2 dogs which one wins the fight ? the one we feed the most sin is there at our beckin call . sometimes we like to entertain it. paul wrote in

colossians 3
to mortify the flesh
3 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:...

2 Peter 1:2-4
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

the good news is this 1 john 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

i can say thank God for the advocate other wwis at times i would be in serious trouble.. to answer wip question i can not. but do know the willfulness of sin and if a born again child of God. we will know the conviction if we deny it and say were not we are Bastards/ illegitimate kids w/o a father

In our society often times we think we are guilty only if we get caught and convicted. But I believe that when it comes to our sin, we are guilty of committing it even if we don't get caught and convicted
