Would you be happy if the whole world became Christian?

i dunno. If Jesus -saved- the whole, wide world today (or...tomorrow, I'm patient...), then things would be -awesome- . thing is...

"becoming a Christian" is no guarantee of any positive changes. religion makes good people better, and bad people worse.

Somehow, "Christian" has become synonymous with authoritarian, dogmatic, and potentially fascist. true in the US (shudder), true in Brazil and some other nations, too. :-(

so, I dunno. lol. THE END. :)

Becoming Christian IS a guarantee of change for the better.
Walking after the Spirit, instead of after the flesh, guarantees a life focused on the giver of the ways to an eventual perfect paradise.
Those still walking after the flesh are not Christians.

Christians argue amoung themselves so not much would change.
How does one determine that they are Christians?
Doesn't coming to an agreement on issues of difference prove love of/for God? Like Paul and the council at Jerusalem?

Not sure exactly what that means. If it means sinners, we all remain sinners until we die. Whether we are Christian or not.
Thank God that after our death with Jesus Christ, and our burial with Him, that we can be raised with Christ to walk in newness of life. (Rom 6:4)
Rebirth!!!
Those reborn of God's seed do not commit sin. (1 John 3:9-10)

As far as i know the belief in The most High Gods mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ is a Christian.

Is there anything more Christian than that?

Do i have to believe a million things and obey a million rules to be saved?

Belief without obedience is the ultimate in unChristian behavior.

If i could obey God i would, but i need Gods grace and mercy through Christ. I cannot live up to Gods expectations. I accept and thank Christ for what he has done for me. That does not mean i dont care about sin, just i cannot live up to Gods standard. If i could then i would not need his grace and mercy. I still need it.

Spiritual battle, i always do what i do not want to do.

I get you. Sometimes I think he is a tough task master. The benchmark is too high.
But on the other hand, maybe I look at God the wrong way. Maybe he appreciates small steps. Small efforts. Humble attitude.
Your post reveals a humble attitude. You aren't always humble but neither am I. But both of us show occasional glimpses of real humility.
It's not a contest. To see who scores the least sins. It's about attitude, not results.
Give others a break. Give ourselves a break. And just hang in there.
