Flintstones, meet the Flintstones, they're the modern Stone Age Family!
From the town of bedrock, they're a page right out of history!

Anyone else here think that the Flintstones was probably the best social commentary on suburban American ever! Some might say the Honeymooners should be tops, but apples to oranges my friends, the Honeymooners were far more lower class urban, whereas the Flintstones were, are, and will remain the quintessential middle-class Amercian suburbanites!

and who could forget all the celebrity cameos like Stoney Curtis and of course, Mick Jadestone and the Rolling Boulders!

I'd love to own a house that shape-shifted like theirs. Whenever Dino chased Fred, it went from a two-room home to the length of a football field. :lol

I believe there was a lot of social commentary that flew right over kids' heads.

Have you forgotten that it was the Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes and that their leader was the Grand Imperial Poobah? ;)

This does condone the over-crowing of vehicle passengers, who by the way, aren't wearing seat belts!

its been awhile since i watched the flintstones, and some of the actors that played the vioces are deceased. the first to go was fred (alan reed, died 1977, a)
then barney.(mel blanc, 1989) then beatty(jean vanderplyl, 1999), and she also did wilma, and daws butler who rubble and others in 2002.

interesting read on the link tween read and harvey corden who play fred after alen reed's death. both worked with Jackie Gleason.
