I want to encourage you that you can trust God for your healing. In 2 Kings 5 there was a Syrian captain that had leprosy so the king sent him to the man of God for him to be healed. So, God through the man of God told him, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. Notice, the certainty that if you do as I said you will be cleansed. And what happened, Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. The healing wasn't in the water it was in the word. And you see again in Numbers 21 when serpents were biting the children of Israel and they were dying God came up with a remedy, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And what happened, And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. Wait a minute, this thing was just killing people, now don't make the mistake they made and give the honor to the pole because it wasn't the pole that did it it was the word. The word overrode that venom, the power of God's word was greater than that venom just like God's word is greater than your condition. God's word is not subject to conditions, but all conditions are subject to his word. It was God's word that did it then and his word is what does it now. Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
That word health is translated-medicine, healing, remedy, and cure. And you see Jesus in Matthew 8 a centurion came to Jesus for him to heal his servant, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And I love Jesus response, And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. He didn't ask what symptoms he had, how long he had them, nothing about his condition. Don't overlook who Jesus is, he is the word made flesh. And when Jesus was on his way the centurion said to him, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. Notice, it's about the word. And what happened, And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Now, you see in John 5 that there was a pool called Bethesda and there was something special about that pool, For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. Look at that, whosoever was healed of whatsoever. It didn't matter who you were or what you had if you stepped in that pool first after the water was troubled it was over. And God and his word are the same way now, it doesn't matter who you are nor what you have. God says in Malachi 3:6, For I am the Lord, I change not. God Bless!
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
