Then, other times when I'm feeling surrounded by internet nutjobs and wackos.....
(No, it's not really me - I found this one on "The Flat Earth Society".

My avatar does not say who I am, but I think it does show that I like cute robots.

GIFs are not forbidden here. Isn't yours one?

Mine is related to a project I have been working on for almost a year now, with very limited success (if any), and an illustration of one thing that I am very interested in. That being the nautical world. I am a student of history, all of it, though I do tend to gravitate toward nautical topics, or things relating to battles.

Good luck in your project

It's a piece of art from a modern monastery from near where I live.
They have a very impressive and artfull modern architecture church. In some places around that church there are alcoves where you can sit and pray or relaxe or read scripture, and each of those alcoves is designed to illustrate one of the things that Christ has done for us. There's a blue one with wave shapes painted on it and a little well in the center reminding us that Jesus is our living water. And there's a bright golden one to symbolise how Christ is the light of the world.
And there's that distrubing red one (part of which you see on my avatar) that looks like there's pieces broken out of it. You can probably guess what it stands for.

Mine is of one of my cats (Apollo) relaxing on an easy chair not a care in the world. Its a reminder to me to enjoy things and not get caught up in the busy-ness that can consume us sometimes.

This was a gift from a friend. I didn't paint it. The dog is my fursona, which is basically a representation of myself in animal form.
The verse is Galations 6:9.

Fishing is a favorite hobby of mine. I guess it goes with the territory considering where I live.
