your favorite music

I like jazz (especially Kamasi Washington and Herbie Hancock), electronic music, progressive rock, and Maurice Ravel the most.

Modal music, atmospheric sounds, some degree of repetition, unusual time signatures, and complex chords/harmonies with great orchestration are among some of the sounds I usually enjoy, which explains why I like the above styles and musicians.

I mean, what is the reason though? Even though it have things that aren't amazing. (Coming from a guy who played Touhou yesterday...😐)
It's fiction, and very captivating fiction at that. I can tell fiction from reality, so it has no power over me. Just as I can read Greek mythology and enjoy it as a story, without believing in Greek mythology.
Thecharacters, music, story, game play, etc are all top teir

The only music that truly glorifies God is worship music. I've found mainstream christian music to be very self-centered, very 'me' centered. It doesn't glorify God.

With that being said, if I wont listen to worship music, I like goth rock and industrial quite a bit. Spiritual Bats, Tactical Sekt, to name a few. I like some witch house too, like Funeral Flowers and Blvck Ceiling.

I think you'll find a fair number of the Psalms are "me centered", I used to read them a lot when extremely depressed.
