One group I really like is the Oslo gospel choir. They had some help from Andre Crouch. Good musicians and just about all of them can sing solo. This woman sings so beautifully... she makes me cry.
Hope you enjoy it.

it changes, but at the moment,

I think my favourite christian group is sons of korah.

I like anything good. Even if it isn't to my taste, I still appreciate talent. Or potential. A band might have a lot of potential and so I like them for that reason. And a band may be successful but soulless.

What I hate is posing. It's such a waste of space. And it's a whip for your own back in the longterm. I mean performing is necessary, and that's a gift, as well as a skill to be honed. But people have to want to watch you. They need a reason.

Mixing the two can eat you up. Or take you out. And it can be such a fine line and one that your label is constantly trying to push you over to make money.

PS. I tend to notice lyrics, and that's something I like a lot. I have a lot of respect for a good lyricist. Combine it with a nice melody and I'm sold. (And that doesn't necessarily just mean skill in putting words together, it has to say something. Some great songs can be built on just a few good lines.)
