I wound up at the ER yesterday morning bright and early, after dealing with some horrible chest and stomach pains which radiated into my back all night long. I hate hospitals but considering the pain went on for a good 6 hours without relenting I woke up my wife and had her take me on. The test results came back and it was neither my gallbladder nor my heart like I suspected, which I'm thankful for, but I have to go see a gastroenterologist soon and run a light down into my stomach to see what's going on. I suspect a hiatal hernia but I can't yet be sure. Please remember me in your prayers, and remember my wife Amanda as well, who has taken care of me and has been such an angel while I'm dealing with this persistent pain.

Good luck, and I will remember you in my prayers. I went through something similar, and after three fairly frightening visits to the ER, tests at the Mayo Clinic, and both a colonoscopy and an endoscopy, I received the diagnosis: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). If you study the IBS literature carefully, you will see that IBS means "We have no idea what your problem is, and there is nothing we can do to help, but we do wish you good luck." At least the doctor who did the colonoscopy was honest enough to admit that's what IBS means.

Our bodies are jam packed with toxins we ingest every day in one way shape or another, in my case it was a complete shutdown, you name it i had it.. Then one day a Podiatrist suggested an herb called Turmeric, since that visit to his office I've not had a sick day in 9 & 1/2 years.. Praise be to God for sending me to see that man

Blake,

I'm sorry to hear you were in pain for so long, I will be praying for you, specifically that whatever it was is gone now and you'll never experience it again!

Blessings to you.

Dear Father, please heal our brother as only You can in the name of Jesus. Remove any fear his wife Amanda may have also, and ease the burden she may be experiencing. I give You the glorification, praise, and thanks You deserve for hearing our voice, and meeting our need. Amen.

Trying my best, guys. I feel a constant pain in my upper stomach area, like I got sucker punched in it a few good times. Not sure what's going on and I'm ready to get this endoscopy over with so I can see what's going on. I'm actually starting to suspect my pancreas! Will keep you all updated as things go along. God bless, and thank you all!

I do still have it, but the ER told me it wasn't my gallbladder. But they could be totally wrong on that one. They were most interested in making sure my heart was alright and they sent me out with an endoscopy appointment and heartburn medication, claiming this was all GERD most likely. Gastric reflux, my foot. I am STILL in pain.

I've experienced an ulcer, and it is not fun. Maybe that's what it is?
The Doctor from urgent care said it was my gallbladder. He was wrong. Get another opinion.
I will be praying for you and your wife.
