It's none of my business, but people who pace alongside a semi are NUTS.

First, if the semi has any emergency, you are in the target zone.
Second, I have seen semi tires explode - death to a motocyclist (which is why they don't pace semis) but dangerous for all of us.

If you pass a truck, GET PAST IT or fall back and stay safe.
 
i have a cdl class b and i have drivers tail gate me while im driving a garbage truck to the shop. like i can see them. i know they go there as i see lights or the car and then it disappears and they dont pass on the left or right or turn. so if i stop or turn i have make sure they know im going to stop so that they can back off. it might save their lives!
