To be honest, I've had the symptoms for weeks; I have ignored them and hoped they would go away. I haven't had any check-ups in my life; I only go to the doctors when there is something wrong. I do tend to visit sites like WebMD and NHS before making the booking.

Well whatever you do, don't trust your medical diagnosis to Google. Trust me, the search engine tends to make mountains out of molehills. :rolleyes

You can learn so much from WebMD. I've used it many times and found it very helpful.

If you want a real jolt...
Have your DNA analysis done.
Mine really freaked me out today. I googled my last name and the region of Europe my ancestors came from...
And front of the pack was a picture of a guy a little older than me who looked like a cousin/brother something. I know all my close cousins and this guy I'm not sure speaks English.

I don't think I dare do that; I'd rather not know, however I wager its interesting. :wink

My wife and I are rather nerdy most of the time.
She works with research scientists...have more as friends locally. We read books constantly...We are basically nerds.
Sigh
But we do fun stuff...a lot
Travel, mission trips, charity work and etc

Is there such a thing as a "cool nerd"?

Of course there is; I'm a book worm too!
Reading helps enrich the mind; more people should read instead of neglecting the activity.

Yeah. There are cool nerds.
Like the one trying to shake out the change in that poor kids' pockets!

The things some grandparents will do for a little extra change....

I have to agree with you Book Keeper.
I didn't have to pay to know all my relatives...it came free of charge. Did it do any good? No. I love my immediate family....husband, most of the time....
son, daughter, their families, brothers and their families.

For everyone else, I'll say this:
Some friends are better than some family.
Oooohhhhh yeah.

You get to PICK your friends.
Hope your ear is OK.

Well when you get laid off from my job as often as I do...you do what you can.

(I already have my next assignment...I was hoping for a couple of days... other than the weekend)

Hubby and I were waiting for retirement so we could have MORE TIME ....

:hysterical

I have more to do now, than when I had kids to raise, and sometimes I even worked (when they became teens).

Surprise, surprise. Kids NEVER go away!
They just multiply...
It's called grandchildren.

Thank you for asking; my ear is pretty much the same. My doctor has prescribed me some ear spray which isn't really working; it smells of vinegar, so all I think of is chips (fries for my American friends)!

I agree with your post; why pay for a connection when you come across them naturally? That's an excellent point!

Warm sweet oil is also good for wax build up and ear infections and can be bought over the counter. You might want to check this out. Hope your ears feel better soon.
