We teach our children that abstinence has always worked.
We claim back our kids and not leave them to the schools to raise.
Teachers believe THEY are better at raising our children than we parents are.
We are NOT to be like the world.
But, slowly, through the world, satan has gotten his way.
And now it's really too late to do anything about it.

It's never too late... Even when the enemies are storming your walls and things look dire, God has equipped us.
Satan can get his way when we become distracted and take our eyes of Jesus. When we think we know more on how to handle a situation than Jesus or when we get puffed up in our own self righteousness and put more emphasis on the wrong problem than the problem itself.

We're not living through anything that hasn't already occurred within the biblical text. The question then becomes,
1. How well do you know your Bible
2. How well do you know Jesus which is different than knowing of Jesus.
The answers to these two questions show ones maturity in Christ. We are often un-willfully ignorant of God's word and direction in our lives and that is why as a community, we need one another because to one degree or another, we are all a bit un-willfully ignorant of God's direction in our lives and I am not above being corrected by God's word.

We can spend a whole lot of time throwing rocks at the world because it is full of darkness, but what if we put more of a focus on asking why we are not shining as bright as we could be?

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. " Matthew 5:14-16

This is a really good point that you brought up. I know that I have stated this before as well. Knowing of somebody and actually having a personal relationship with them are two entirety different things. For example, I know of the president of The United States but I don't have a personal relationship with him.



However, just because I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ doesn't mean that it's always hearts and violins and if somebody claimed it was they would probably be lying.


Just like the fact that even though I love my family I don't have a perfect relationship with them either. There are times where we argue and say things we don't mean to one another. However we still love each other and I know that whenever I mess up and just confess that I've made a mistake, they will be right there to forgive me, and thankfully God works exactly the same way.


I know that I'm sort of getting off topic here, but you know these people that some may claim to be Christophobics,.. we don't know their whole entire story. Maybe they don't realize that just because they really messed up in their lives that they can still have a relationship with the Father. Until we walk a mile in another's shoes we can't really know for certain what they're going through.

Thank you, but I really don't consider myself an infant in Christ anymore, I feel like I've blossomed into an adolescent. I might not know or understand a lot of scripture but I just speak from my heart and I've been judged just simply for my disabilities before people have gotten the chance to know me and it hurts.



I think that's the whole entire point here as well. Instead of focusing on the negative side of people, we should be focusing more on the positive side. And there are no lost sheep that cannot be found,.. all they need to do to find their shepherd is follow the light. John 8:12.

You know I realize that I probably am drifting off topic again so please forgive me for this,.. but since the subject of name calling was brought up it reminded me of this song from "The Greatest Showman." For those of you who haven't seen the film it was about these people that the world considered freaks,.. and so after awhile they started believing the awful things that people were saying about them. That is until P.T Barnum showed them that what made them different made them special and I think it's at this moment they realized it. (This is now my very own anthem. If the world has a problem with me, then it's their problem not mine,.. because I am who I am and I don't make any apologies and this is me. )

Growing up on welfare we were called all kind of names and mean things said about my father who was disabled and could not work, but was self employed different times that really did not bring in much money. Back then in my BC (before Christ) years that angered me and was the cause of many literal fights with neighborhood and school kids.

When I came to know Christ then I learned that mean names meant nothing as haters will hate and there is nothing you can do about it, but to only show love and pray for your enemies. Names can only harm the psyche if you allow them to.

I wouldn't think Christians are ignorant of the ways of Christ, but just to lazy to know what His ways are. But, yet we are all flawed in some areas being perfected dailey when we submit our whole self to Christ, but not yet perfect until we receive an incorruptible body when Christ returns. We all need a deeper relationship with Christ as we did not come as a light unto the world, but are to be letting that light that shines in darkness to illuminate the path to Christ.

There is always a battle we fight between the flesh and the Spirit, but the battle belongs to the Lord who has made us overcomers of the lusts of this world.

You,rebuild all that but won't turn the meter back on,by,simply turning it back from,a slant ?

The house only had thin aluminum from the meter to the breaker box. I upgraded the aluminum cable to copper 2 ot so I could run 200 amp.
I admit it, I was terrified looking inside the meter box once the meter was removed. The upper portion is hot directly from the pole.
