YOU go right ahead and look at a super Nova, I'll keep my eyesight thank you, lol
Hubble does that and 100s of light years away and its not blinding.a super nova isn't that bright enough to blind.

A camera can be blinded, people fried dlsrs to get the recent solar eclipse.

Super Novas are so bright that in 10 seconds they release more light than our sun does in it's entire lifetime, calculated at 10 billion years. The brightest thing we know of, by far.

I put my eclipse glasses over the lense of the camera on my phone....
Worked like a charm.

Well, since I couldn't really see the Eclipse from where I live anyway, I just watched it on video since I didn't have the right kind of glasses for it. All I had/have at home are my regular glasses, sunglasses and 3D glasses. And I'm not so sure that the last two would have worked even if the trees hadn't of been in the way.

Did God Create The Universe With A Big Bang?
Maybe.
The Bible just says: (Gen 1:1-3)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
None of that is a scientific statement. It's just a statement of the facts as far as God deems that we need to know.

the "Big Bang theory" is one concept of how the universe began and is used by astrophysicists to try to understand what they see happening. It gives them a point of reference from which to understand what they see.

It is a theory. A theory is a set of proposals from which to begin an investigation. It may be totally correct, partially correct, or totally wrong. It's just a place to start.

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

God created the heavens before he filled them with heavenly bodies and the Earth before he formed it is the way I see it ..

Yes, created and made are two different things.

Very good point...in Genesis 1 and 2 we see the two aspects of this process. He had already created (bara) plants but they had not yet grown until the mist watered the ground, and he had already created mankind (male and female) but in formation (yatzar) He brought forth the male first then the female.

We are made in His image and oddly for us ideation/creation also precedes formation. The difference being that He does not need pre-existing materials to create/form and we do.

Really? Can you explain please? I believe that the two words are interchangeable.
Create - to make something out of nothing. Made - to make something from something else. I generally try to refrain from using the word "create" when describing something I built, or made. IMHO using that word is an attempt to put ourselves at the same level of God. Not possible.

Hmm so is gravity,electricity,magnetism,

Electricity isn't a theory when it grabs you. Ask me how I know! Lol

I've thought for a long time that the big bang did happen. Jesus spoke and BANG it happened. I also think that we'll all get to witness it after this is over. There's no tie in the eternal so it will be easily possible.

Science just doesn't understand right now how it all fits together.

How it works is a theory, a car uses a negative ground ,right? Wrong, positive is actually where the electrons move
A proton ,neutron doesn't move. Proton and neutrons cam aND do take and lose their charge.

Yes electric energy can be reversed. Dcep, dcen

Genesis is in Hebrew not modern English...Yes WE do not create as in bara, nor do we give form to as in yatzar

We are LIKE HIM not the same as HIM...

Yep, in some of those electrical classes they had me take they told us that there is no hard and fast rules to electricity. All we can do is observe and record the findings. It usually behaves the same way...but not always.

I agree with you except for the fact Jesus is the Son of God not God Himself. The Son didn't speak the world into existence, for that was the work of the Father.

That's not what John says. You'll get to the NT soon. :)

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.../

I know, but I thought that Him referred to God not Jesus. For it says in Genesis 1:1 that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
