agree - God wants to give people a chance to repent and turn to God - if this happened now many would go to hell
God has already decided the perfect time to end this age and start the new age of eternal life with God
it would be nice for us if that time was now - but thinking of the lost it is better for them to have the chance for eternal life

I'm not talking about the lost though, I'm talking about the devil himself. Life would be so much easier if he was already out of the picture.

life would be nice if the devil never was allowed to rebel and then deceive adam and eve - we would still all be in the garden of eden having a wonderful life with God
so the fact that God let the devil rebel and allows people chose to follow God or follow the devil is all tied together - why would God allow this to begin with? - why does God allow it to continue for now?

CS Lewis once wrote something to the effect that the moments of joy--not just happiness, but joy--that God gives us in this life are a sort of preview, just a tiny taste, of Heaven. Oh, that and miracles and unexpected things of God...those, too, show us a bit more of Him and give a glimpse of His Kingdom (yet to come).

I ask myself that question a lot and it seems like I'm always asking God questions, especially why He allows certain things to happen,.. but I guess the real answer is that He doesn't allow it. Bad things happen because He gave us all free will on whether or not we want to choose to love Him and obey His commands.

Yep. These things need be so that other things can happen. The Lord will come and make all things new again and have a millennial reign on earth, but as we all know, in order to make things new again then the old must be torn down first! Sort of like the demolition before the remodel...
I heard before that Revelation was the last book written, and that, the things prophesied in Revelation do not have to come to pass, if the people would all repent and turn to Him...A nice thought for sure, but it doesn't look like that will happen, so...these things need be, to happen.

When did he create the angel who became Satan? What part did the angel have in becoming the Destroyer?
God doesn't tell us about the origin of Satan. However, I think we can safely presume he came into being after God's good and perfect world was created (Gen 1:31) and before he showed up in the Garden of Eden (Gen 3:1).

Well we do know that originally he was the most beautiful angel in Heaven. Or at least that's what I was always taught. I'm having difficulty finding the exact Bible verses that mention this though.

The "delay" is for a reason.
God's reason.
Think about the story of Jacob's son Joseph.
His brothers sold him into a life of slavery and early death instead of killing him outright.
The evil the brothers did (Satan inspired) was used by God to counter the severe famine that was coming. It also promoted the nation of Egypt to become the foremost superpower in the Fertile Crescent. The Pyramids in Egypt wouldn't exist today if it wasn't for the financial wealth of the country then.
All of this was foretold by God to Abraham before Jacob's father Isaac was even born. God keeps his promises.
Now none of this would have happened if not for the evil of Joseph's brothers or the evil desires of Potiphar's wife...or the wine steward's incarceration...
Evil won't win. It can't win. Evil can't thwart God but it sure can inadvertently show God's might, glory, grace, and invulnerability.

It will happen in God's good time. Meanwhile, our efforts in spiritual warfare glorify God and edify us to a better resurrection - 2 Cor. 10:4-6.

Job 38:1-7 the angels who are created spirit beings were present with God as He was creating the foundation of the world so they, including who we call Satan being a fallen angel, were first created by God before He created the heaven (atmosphere) and the earth. Satan was placed in the garden of Eden after God created it and there is where pride became Satan's downfall.

IMO this is why Satan has yet to be cast into the lake of fire as God knows exactly who the last one is that will turn back to Him and all prophecy must be fulfilled. We know Satan's purpose is to try and destroy our faith, but also is kept in God's timing and purpose that we probably will never fully understand.

I agree with that but I don't believe that was blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, but it was definitely blasphemy against Jesus.
