Romans tells us in chapter 1 that God has always revealed Himself. God is a just God, and this is so that everyone will have a chance to be saved.

That's a pretty big point you made there, Sister. I knew this what was what you were talking about and it's very clear.

Romans 1:20
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:.../

Which means, deep down inside, every man knows there is a God. There is no such thing as an Atheist, they just say that so they may continue in their favorite sins. Every day, every man (and Woman!) have a choice to make. Everything is a choice for us here. Could I choose to walk away from the Lord and lead a life of sin? Of course I could. Would I think that I would be, called on the carpet about it?! Why wouldn't I? Is our God not a just God? No thank you, today me and my House serves the Lord!

What? People have no fear of God anymore? You better get it. Don't scripture also say that He wants to find us doing what we are supposed to be when He comes? Doesn't it also say that to turn away from God to sin after having seen the light that it's better that a millstone is hung around their neck and they tossed in the sea...??

You better take that Bible seriously Brothers & Sisters! JMO.

For example, of the born again Christians between the ages of 18-39 surveyed, 60 percent agreed with the statement “Buddha, Muhammad and Jesus are all valid paths to God.”
That group is the one normally discribed as 'milenial' so that result is not surprising.

A better question would have been to ask whether the voters belonged to millenial or boomer or any other group.

What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-7
  • Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost
One of His sheep became lost.
Its clear it was His sheep who became lost and repented and returned.

Jesus said His sheep follow Him. (John 10:27)
Jesus' words concerning sheep...to the Jews...were in regard to the Jewish "sheep".

Romans 1 states that God has always made Himself be known.

If it applies only to Israel in the person of Jesus, then Romans 1 would be wrong.

Both ideas cannot be right.

Have I made clear the two ideas?
You are differentiating then, between God and Jesus.
All know God but not all know Jesus.

More like "AA" meetings, and like "AA", they tell them they can never be perfect.
Folks like that leeway in the ways of Godliness.
God hates it though.
I know AA people
Sober many years, born again, in their 60's and 70's.
They know the gospel very well but like when the gospel tells them of something they learned in AA.
Not all people look for excuses.

That is really bad news, it means that those Christians will not get saved because they are used to compromise. We must go through the narrow way to be accepted by God and love Jesus Christ and see Him alone as God manifest in a human being. I suppose it depends on who we ask, but those people will not get saved.

I love that testimony, but AA doesn't believe anyone can be cured of alcoholism.

I am not differentiating

JESUS IS GOD.

If someone is worshipping God, they are also worshipping the 2nd person of the Trinity.

If someone, however, rejects the 2nd person of the Trinity, they are rejecting God.
I guess I don't understand your comments from post #8.

So you believe this teaching in Luke 15:4-7 is about Jews?
