Do you believe Jesus Christ is the only way to God?

“For example, of the born again Christians between the ages of 18-39 surveyed, 60 percent agreed with the statement “Buddha, Muhammad and Jesus are all valid paths to God.”
I should have made it clearer that I meant those voting on this site.

I am not differentiating

JESUS IS GOD.

If someone is worshipping God, they are also worshipping the 2nd person of the Trinity.

If someone, however, rejects the 2nd person of the Trinity, they are rejecting God.
Don't let the Jews (and others who believe the Old Covenant) know that they are worshiping "the 2nd person of the Trinity". BTW, when Jesus taught people to pray, He taught them "Our Father...

Matthew 6:9, "So pray this way: Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored..."

What's your point?
Is Jesus God or not?

I'm not sure I understand your first sentence.

The Jews were offered the 2nd Person. They turned Him down. I've stated that rejecting Jesus is rejecting God because He is God.

What are some other ways to God besides Jesus Christ?

There is only one way to God.
God, the creator, must be sought and honored/worshipped.

Buddha is not the creator.
Muhammad is not the creator.

God has always revealed Himself to man.
This is made plain and clear in Romans 1

Romans 1:18-21
For (AJ)the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who (AK)suppress the truth [m]in unrighteousness, 19 because (AL)that which is known about God is evident [n]within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For (AM)since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, (AN)being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not [o]honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became (AO)futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened

Matthew, Mark, John, Peter, Paul, James, Andrew, Thomas, and many more of the early believers and disciples were all Jews. In fact, Gentiles were excluded from being part of the Body of Christ until Paul received his commission.

So your statement that the Jews turned down Christ is diametrically opposite from the actual facts.

The above deserves no reply.
I'm not here to play games but to speak about God and His word with others.

But you did reply! Your anti-Semitic statement that the Jews turned down Christ is diametrically opposite from the actual facts. The first disciples of Jesus were all Jews not Gentiles.

Likewise, I'm not here to play games but to speak the truth about God and His word with others.

That is not true.
You are so wrapped up in your Law that you fail to see the truth.
John 4:39-42;
Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. 41 And because of his words many more became believers.

42 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

Would you call Samaritans Jews?

I guess I misunderstood your reply that said...

The are other ways to God.

Amen.

As He was addressing Jews, my answer is yes.
Please keep the context of my initial comment in mind.

Of course He was addressing Jews, as His Disciples were Jews.

He was teaching His Disciples how to deal with a brother, one of His sheep, who sins and wanders away.

He taught them to go after them and try to turn them back.

Its about the church working together as a body to deal with a brother who sins.

Matthew's version brings clarity -

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
Matthew 18:12-17

  • But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

Its about His Church.

Well I'd reword it that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father, because Jesus Christ is also God in the flesh. Holy Trinity. But yes.

"Jesus said to them, I am the way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6

To me this goes back to the Calvinist concepts of the visible church and the invisible church. Clearly the visible church is in bad shape. The invisible church the body of Christ is what matters most.

Maybe you could explain what the difference is between the visible Church and the invisible ?

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
1 John 4:20-21

you might want to read what the Westminster says, its the visible church on the earth ,the invisible are those that died .

we quoted that when ken died from covid, evidence of how he lived and it was clear he believed .we have communion with them ,its quoted in doxology

I think that is what he may mean.

And that works perfectly for the OT Jewish faith when men were still walking in the flesh instead of in the Spirit.

If by "church" you mean synagogue or temple...fine.

Sinners don't follow Jesus, ergo, are not His sheep.

I am in no wise against trying to urge those who depart from the NT church to come to a real repentance from sin and join with the faithful who do follow the Good Shepherd.
I still pray for those who have left the church, in hope they will someday return.

Brother, why would you believe the following teaching of Jesus Christ, to His disciples, is the Old Testament “Jewish Faith”?
(No such thing as the “Jewish Faith” to begin with.)

These are instructions to His disciples, who would be sent out as Apostles, to make disciples of all nations, teaching them all things that He taught them. (See the great commission).

These is no such thing as the Jewish Church, or the Jewish Faith.

There is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is building His Church upon the rock of His teachings, which begins with understanding that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
Matthew 7:24

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. Colossians 3:9-11

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29
