An article of faith in order to be believed must proposed by holy church as Christ commanded his apostles!

Matt 28:19

Not the Bible alone
Thee faith is revealed by Christ thru his church Jn 1:16-17

Fortunately we have the bible to know that you added "through His church" to the scriptures above.

If you want to discuss faith, please post a scripture that mentions faith, and make your point.

Thee faith is revealed by Christ to his church Jude 1:3 free from error Jn 16:13 then they teach the nations Matt 28:19

So an article of faith must be proposed by the church of the apostles

Christ and his church are one acts 9:4
Act 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Where does it say Christ and His church are one in this verse?

Saul was attacking or persecuting the church! Jesus says why do you persecute ME!
Christ and his church are one!
Also matt 26:18-19 1 Tim 3:15 Eph 5:32

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Revelation 21:2
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

None of those scriptures speak about an article of faith no matter how you want them to.

Here is the article of faith found in scripture.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (The whole Chapter explains faith)

Christ and his church are one!
Christ and His church being the body of Christ are one with He being the head of the body, not the Roman Catholic Church, the Pope, Mary or anything else that takes away from Jesus being the head and God the Father or any other established church.

If you are going to continue teaching Roman Catholic doctrine that is written by the Holy See and determined by the Pope to be truth then you had better bring those articles word for word as they are written so we can compare and see if they line up with scripture as you are batting all strikes so far with only a very few hits, but no homeruns.

An article of faith is a specific doctrine

Put another way thee faith must be proposed by holy mother church

It must be revealed by Christ and taught by his apostles

Of course Christ founded the church and is the head, he is also king but kings do not administer their own kingdoms they have a prime minister as does Christ before ascending to heaven appointed peter to lead the apostles and the church

I give scripture for my statements

There is no such thing as an article of faith nor is there any holy mother (Mary) church. If you can not provide a written article for us to read then it is just your view.

Faith means the trustworthiness or reliance on Gods word for his salvation for us who believe in him. It's a belief in the promises and blessings of his word and applying his word to our daily walk with him by seeing the confidence in the testimony of others.

The nature of faith is seen through the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance, which these fruits brings about kindness, self control and faithfulness through the works of God that comes from our heart.

Faith gives us freedom from condemnation and freedom of salvation through adoption as we become one body in the Lord as we walk by faith, live by faith, pray by faith and resist evil by faith. By faith we are an overcomer of this world as we stand fast and are grounded in Gods word knowing we have assurance of all of his promises that makes us victorious in all things here on earth by us applying his word to our lives to know for a surety that he will never leave us or forsake us.

Faith is a living reality in ones life through Gods service by declaring his word as we bear witness to his name by the mighty works he has done. It’s not even our faith, but that of Jesus who is our faith as we believe in who he has said he was and to the glory and honor that he has brought before the Father through his life, death and resurrection that we to can become heirs to the throne of grace by coming boldly to his throne and surrendering all of us to him to be Lord and Savior of our live.

Hebrews chapter 11 is probably one of the greatest faith chapters in the Bible. I want to take you through each verse and show you how faith brought about Gods promise and favor to his people. We have these same promises today and forever because of the covenant God made with Abraham in Genesis 12:1-3 and for all generations to come because we are the heirs of God and joint-heirs of Christ, Romans 8:12-17.
