If I die right now, I feel I will be saved, on the last day of judgement.
But tomorrow is anybody's guess.
As long as you die believing you will in fact be saved from the wrath of God on the day of judgment.

And, yes, there is always tomorrow. The Bible tells us to continue to believe, and if we do we will remain in the Son and the Father - 1 John 2:24.

24As for you, let what you have heard from the beginning remain in you. If it does, you will also remain in the Son and in the Father.

As long as the condition is believing, and you are satisfying that condition, you have salvation. You have eternal life, you have crossed from death to life, and you will not come under judgment:
24Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.
John 5:24
That's the assurance of salvation that the believing person has. Why don't you believe what Jesus himself said?
I sure hope we both keep believing.

No, not me.
I think you're the OSASer here, right?
Only in the correct context of there being no salvation until salvation is granted...on the day of judgement.
That is when we will learn if, or if not, our names are in the book of life.

A lot of sinners "believe", but have been hoodwinked into believing sin doesn't matter.
But there will be no sinners going on into eternal life.
Only the ex-sinners will be written in the book of life.

Not if you one is really born again.
It is written..."Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." (1 John 3:9)
What about 1 Jn 1:8?

Do you believe this doctrine of external forensic justification?
Thanks

You changed the subject?
You said there is “nothing” we can do???
I said there is nothing you can do but receive the forgiveness of God BY FAITH. And so BELIEVING is the one and only way to become righteous. Because it is by believing in the blood of Christ that one is forgiven.

No one is made righteous by doing righteous things. If you think they are then you believe a works gospel and you are lost. You are anathema. Paul said so.

Faith is not a righteous thing?

Faith is not a righteous thing?
The only thing that you can 'DO' in order to be made righteous is to receive the forgiveness of God BY BELIEVING IN IT. Not even the righteous act of believing makes you righteous. Believing accesses the righteousness that you, by nature, do not have - the righteousness of God (Romans 5:2).

Faith is not a work of boast. But the Catholic church has made even that a work that when performed, in and of itself, makes you righteous. Catholicism is a works gospel religion.

Righteousness FROM God - Philippians 3:9.

Catholics are busy being righteous in order to be righteous instead of receiving the righteousness that comes from God when you believe that God has forgiven you in Christ.

What about 1 Jn 1:8?
John uses an A-B, A-B, A-B format in 1 John 1.
(Paul used the same format in Romans 8 where he juxtaposed those walking in the Spirit with those walking in the "flesh".)
John is illustrating the difference between those who walk in the light/God, and those who walk in the darkness/sin.
Verse 8, and 6 and 10, are addressing those who still walk in sin.
Sinners cannot say they have no sin.
But those in verses 5, 7, and 9 are addressing those walking in the light/God, and there in no sin in God.

I don't believe I have ever heard of that.

John 5:24 begs to differ with you.

Stop following doctrines of the church and read and learn from the scriptures for yourself!
Did you notice the conditional nature of John 5:24?
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
Some who believe today may show later that they don't believe.
When and where will their "uninterrupted" belief be determined?
On the day of judgement.

If one is righteous, won't they do righteous things?
Do you think there are unrighteous believers?

Faith and baptism are required for initiation into Christ and the new covenant
Effects of faith & baptism!

Ez 36:25-27 washed in baptism, with a new heart and the Spirit
Jn 3:5 born again in baptism
Mk 16:16 faith & baptist
Acts 2:38 repentance & baptism
Acts 8:36-38 faith & baptism
Acts 22:16 baptism washes away sin
Rom 6:3 died with Christ
Col 2:12 risen with Christ
1 cor 12:13 baptized into the church
Gal 3:27 by baptism put on Christ
2 Tim 1:10 eph 2:1 and 5 brought to life
2 cor 5:17 new creation
Eph 1:13 sealed by the Holy Spirit
Eph 4:5 one faith, one baptism
Eph 5:26 faith and baptism
Titus 3:5 baptismal regeneration
1 pet 1:2 washed in Christ’s blood
1 pet 2:9 the kingdom of light
1 pet 3:20-21 baptism saves us!

“Faith alone” accomplishes nothing!
1 cor 13:2 even all faith (alone) without charity avails NOTHING!!!

Faith and baptism!

Scripture says none of the things about “Faith alone”!

Only James 2:24 a man is justified by works and not by “faith alone”

2 Peter 1:11
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Christian sacrament of baptism is the Initiation into the new covenant and must be ministered to you by the apostles!

I thinks it’s from the so-called reformed theology crowd

Peter's not talking about justification in his discourse either, lol.

If you believe that all the things that Peter lists there in 2 Peter 1:5-11 makes you righteous then you are serving a works gospel. You are anathema.
