Hello all,
'Judge not and you shall not be judged...condemn not and you shall not be condemned...'
Only God knows what was in Judas' heart at the time of his death, and only God knows where he will spend eternity...
I'll leave the judging to Jesus, because I know He'll judge rightly.

I think he also committed suicide. I believe this man was never saved to begin with. Matthew 27:5.

What does "repented himself" mean? Why the "himself" and not just "repented"?

That is an excellent attitude to have, but it is really only half the story.

The portion of Scripture you quote does not provide the context in which Jesus said those words.3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?

Jesus was talking about being real with everyone, not withdrawing from the "unclean" of the world simply because we think we're better than them because we have what they don't. That is not to be our attitude, an attitude that is based on wrongly judging. Certainly they are lost, but it is our job, upon making that judgment, to give them information required to get "found."
I did not provide context for my quote of 1 Corinthians 6:3 either. I used it to make a point. And that point is very similar to your own.

I believe both these passages teach us a great deal about how we are to judge, rather than to not judge at all. Both Jesus and Paul are saying to use our liberty and our salvation with humility, not considering ourselves greater than those still lost, and not considering the world to have answers for us when God is our Justice.1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints? 2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? God made the fate of Judas very clear in the bible. There is no need to judge. Read what God has said.

If this man had repented and had turned to Jesus, he wouldn't of committed suicide.
I think Judas realized that people were on to what he had done by selling out Christ and a guilt trip came upon him because he was busted. He tried to alleviate his heavy burden of guilt by returning the money. When this didn't help he hung himself and that didn't even work out well because in his attempt to hang himself the noose broke and he fell and his guts spilled out.
It makes no mention that he repented to God and that's what he needed to do or that he was even was sorry for what he had done to God. He could have been forgiven and healed emotionally by God but he elected to do it his way.

Samson never took his life; he sacrificed it for his people. There is a big difference. Samson’s actions were not condemned or seen as suicide (self-murder) his final act of life was actually a selfless action of giving up his life for the sake of his people.
