It's a widely known fact that men do both ears these days; this is my basic point.

It's not necessary and there are other priorities.

It's not unusual, either; sometimes not a case of actively trying to look a certain way, but simply they way they are, and it's widespread, too.

Bryan College is very, very conservative theologically and even there it's considered no big deal for the men students to have ear piercings (or the women students to have nose studs). Or so they say.
