Eph 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

I think a marriage is 50/50.It is team work.One partner should not try to control the other.I would hope that a couple got to know each other very well before they married so they know what to expect from their marriage partner.There are some people who are very dependent and want to be led around.
I certainly hope that they would have discussed the situation and have considered each others feelings and wants and needs.You can not only think of yourself in a marriage it is two.

I don't think anyone should demand anything.The opinion should have been given to her freely.You discuss things in a marriage before they are done.It is a partnership.

should a husband have more decision making power in a marriage?
No.They should discuss everything in the marriage and talk out it.Compromise is the key.

what if a husband is making huge sacrifices of comfort for the lively hood of the family
and the wife does not want that sort of discomfort. and tries to stop the husband from making a hard choice for the sake of her desire. Should the husband move forward with the sacrificce?
Didnt the desciple peter try to prevent the removal of the mesiah, for the sake of his desire to be with him.?
yet Jesus still made the decision to dye for the ones he loved.
Do you think they wanted to see him hang on that cross?
Do you feel like a wife wants to sacrifice comfort and stability when a husband feels they need to do so in faith?

Ephesians 5:22 does not mean that the man has the upper hand or can make all the decisions.I just means she should respect her husband.But that goes both ways.

50 / 50 decision making is not scripural I cannot comprehend that reasoning it is bias from feminine position

did Jesus leave the ear off the soldier that took him after peter cut it off. I mean 50 /50 would be one ear is mine to do with what I want and the other is yours to leave their if you want.
