questdriven: I see some of my threads have been merged, which is fine. Seems that there are periodic spurts of activity from posters on some threads that have lain dormant for a while. Oh okay; I understand, yes. It's a valid subject, anyway. I've been encouraged to keep to existing threads rather than keep having new ones, anyway. Appreciated the good verse that you relevantly quoted, too. And your comments on the other threads I started too, on various subjects. In some ways I probably mis-stated or went over the top in some of my comments a while back about the earrings that men wear, too, though it's an undoubted fact that we do; though I don't wear mine any longer, though. The gun or needle thing is a relevant aspect, for men and women, of course. There are a lot of aspects of tattoos that are equally relevant to men and women too. Blessings, and ty.

Hi again; yes the article that you linked makes some very good points. I wouldn't necessarily identify with all his comparisons, but yes he does present a well thought out case. Reminds me really of the saying that if you point the finger at someone, there will be three other finders pointing back at you. I don't necessarily go along with James Whites's textual assumptions regarding the text of the New Testament, but within its parameters the KJVO Controversy book is excellent. I say this, being also a strong user of the King James myself. Do keep me posted, anyway. Blessings.

(The James White book that the writer mentions, the KJVO Controversy, issued by Bethany House, is excellent, too.) Like you say it's long; I haven't yet read all of it, either.
