  • Hi Farouk,

I am fine thank you - just had our first child so I'm very thankful to God. How are you my friend?
Not until I was 21. Same with the two tattoos I have. 8G is large enough for me, I don't want my ear lobes resting on my shoulders lol. I never got too into the body modification thing. What made you take yours out?
Yeah. I usually take them out for work, though. That's why I don't have a mohawk, either. What gauge are your earrings? Mine are 8G and 21G. I have a plug in the 8G. I haven't put anything in the smaller hole for about a month. I think it's closed up!
lol Thanks! But I didn't make it, I was just reiterating what Milton Friedman said in the video. I will say though, that when conservatives refer to the individual it is not necessarily in an isolationist sense. No man is an island. However, it is more in reference to the sovereignty of the individual; and by extension the sovereignty of the family unit.
Hi Brother Farouk. I don't even know how I found your invite to be friends, but I did and have no idea what that entails; I did accept your invite. I normally don't join exclusive sections or whatever they're called in forums, but I am meeting interesting people, reading well thought out threads and posts, also like the involvement of the moderation, and so I may become a real supporting member of this Christian outreach. Please feel free to PM me anytime and if I get an email notifying me I will attempt to respond asap. May God bless you here in Jesus' name, and thanks.

You don't miss a thing...my daughter took it today.
Thanks for the welcome! I'll be sure to post in your topics if I can do so meaningfully.

You are welcome! They are fun and it breaks up the seriousness sometimes...I hope I didn't kill your thread though. Maybe I should have minded my own business.
No Problem! I thoroughly enjoyed it and the different perspectives.
I always enjoy reading some good books as well, obviously those within the Bible, but also those outside as well....
    Any recommendations you could offer?
I am currently reading a series from Tim Lahaye and Craig Parshall called the Brink of Chaos. A Christian fiction novel. Actually a series called the End Series, an eschatological thriller. Not bad, very reminiscent of Joel C. Rosenberg.
I recently finished a book that was pretty good called "Christian Atheist" by Craig Groeschel. An interesting perspective of Christians who profess to believe in God, but live as though He doesn't exist.
Thanks Farouk! I'll be looking through your posts.... I'm trying to get acclomated to the forum here, so would appreciate any tips you can provide.
I love being able to speak to like minds, hear testimonies about how Christ is at work in their lives, so feel free to share anything you'd feel that correlates to that.
I appreciate the extended hand of friendship, and to future discussions!
Yes, I saw your post. I am interested in the topic, and will check out your links in more detail when I have the time. I have uni and staff commitments to attend to before any public posting. Thanks mate.
