I'm pretty sure that all I have is a cold right now, but how can I tell the two apart? I just got my flu vaccine a few months ago so it's sort of difficult to tell since if I do have the flu, it's a very tame version of it.

How can you tell the difference between a cold and the flu?
Because colds and flu share many symptoms, it can be difficult (or even impossible) to tell the difference between them based on symptoms alone. Special tests that usually must be done within the first few days of illness can tell if a person has the flu.
Lutefisk!?In one town in Norway*, far far away, once upon a time,
they got sick every year around the same time - near the beginning of cold weather/ winter.
This went on for decades without anyone figuring out
that just before they 'all' (most) got sick,
a shipment of one particular food , was delivered (yes, by ship),
and they 'all' (most) liked it and ate it, year after year.
Before I disclose the miracle of them not getting sick any more,
anyone care to try to guess why they got sick around the same time every year ?
(this is for fun, truth, joy, life, may be a revelation to many people who don't know yet)
*re Norway. It might have been a neighboring country - it was one town located on a fiord though.
