Hello, yes I thought I would get myself out of the way! I have been really busy but thanks for checking in with me yesterday. Hope you are well!
Do you keep replying on your own profile as well? I keep posting replies to you on my own profile, then remembering, deleting them and pasting them onto your profile :lol.
    :lol

They of course have their own language, as do the Aborigines, but thanks to some horrible social programs in the 1920-60's when the Government removed many indigenous children from their families by force and tried to bring them up in "proper white culture". This led to large parts of lineage and culture of indigenous tribes greatly reduced or broken. There's still tribes around, but they mostly speak English ,from what I understand.
LOL. It seems strange to me how there are two very distinct parts to Canada, with different languages. Although I've been to Switzerland, which is French (west) German (east) and English all throughout. Man they have some weird dialects of German in some of the rural areas :D

We've got the Federal Government trying to negotiate education funding with the States at the moment. It's a mess. :gah
    LOL

    I was thinking Federal government.

Canada does have a Federal Government, right? :rolling

    :couch sorry, couldn't resist :D
It seems we agree. Sorry for the misunderstanding. :)

What's the political climate like in Canada? It seems in the US there's a massive issue over what religion a politician is. In Australia not many people care, and focus more on the policy. I think that's a good thing, although their personal values do and should come into our minds on some level. But not as a deciding factor, IMO.
On the subject of the Billy Graham thread, I want you to know that I have nothing really against Billy Graham. I haven't studied his doctrine in great detail as he was before my time, but I have no reason to dislike the man nor the tremendous work he has done for the Gospel. Many have come to Christ because of that man.

My comments were to the Billy Graham Association as put forth by the OP
You're welcome. I'm actually quite surprised by that and to me it really is a compromise on the part of BGEA. It will be interesting to see if they continue that stance after the election. If so, I know which association will not get my support.
Yeah, church was good. A friend of mine invited me to go to a Bible study at her church with her this evening.
