Okay, back. We heard a good message tonight on Acts 9, how Dorcas was God honoring and full of good works. Yes, the word 'liberal' can be made to mean almost anything. In World War Two, Nazis could have been described as a bit more liberal than their Lithuanian fascist friends, because they actually insisted on burying the Jews they murdered instead of leaving them to rot, as the Lithuanian fascists wanted to do. (Yes, really!) So unless we know the exact context of what a word such as 'liberal' means, all sorts of misunderstandings can occur.
Anyway, Peter says, 'gird up the loins of your mind' (1 Peter 1.13), in other words, get into the habit of thinking clearly, sensibly and weighing up things with discernment. Have a great meeting tonight with your own Bible study. Blessings.
